Is it just me or is this guy Tanner saw actually going towards the creche, not back from it at 9.15....I thought the Creche was in the Ocean Club.....

IDK, but if we move the timeline a little more either way we might pull in some French suspects as well.

From a comment below that article:

When, where and at what time did Kate see Madeleine last?
When, where and at what time did Gerry see Madeleine last?
When, where and at what time did any of the Tapas friends see Madeleine last?
When, where and at what time did anyone outside their circle see Madeleine last?

Have any of these timings been established?
Don't ask McCann's. They will not answer and will sue you.

I'm excited by the update this morning !!

Jane Tanners eye witness account corroborated and now independent callers calling to identify suspect.

Other people also saw him.

I think this could be the break that will lead to Madeleine being found.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Auto correct has a mind of its own.

Jane's account has been disproven.

Her claim is for @9:15 ... You're now claiming the "abductor" wandered aimlessly in the area for at least 45 minutes?????

Don't forget-wandering for 45 minutes, holding a child, while having no way of knowing when the alarm would be raised

And if the smiths saw a person actually carrying her @ 10... And her mother discovers her missing at 10... How can that be ?

I am not convinced that these two things happened at precisely the same moment-unless the person seen by the Smiths, like the one seen by Jane Tanner, is just another father holding his own child. Is there confirmation at what time the authorities were called? The Smith sighting and KM's alarm could have been, say...10 minutes apart, or so. If someone was watching the McCanns, why wouldn't he enter the apt immediately after 9:30 to take Maddie-why wait til 10, when it's likely someone would be returning to the apartment? And how lucky for him that none of the children woke up?

Police was first alerted at around 10.40pm if I remember correctly...

Well Kate's putting herself right there at the very moment .., seeing the curtains moving and a door slamming ..,,

Thanks-I wonder if there is any verification regarding the precise time KM alerted her husband and the rest of the party about the missing Maddie?

What motivation would Kate and Gerry have to kill their own daughter, yet continue on with raising the twins?

No one is claiming it was intentional first degree murder.

children are killed at an alarming rate by a parent.
Oftentimes the parent lies and claims abduction.

IMO no great mystery here.

Why, do you think that everybody who loses their temper and hits a child too hard or something always decides to get rid of all the others too while they're at it?

Not saying that they killed anyone but there are lots of examples of parents who killed one child and continued to raise others.

Interesting this is a piece on Joana Morais blog spot, its the second statement by Martin Smith with regards to the sighting ....... way back when.

I wonder why the McCann's don't want to go along with a re-enactment of events. And he says in the video "we would be more than happy for the case to be reopened"... OMG, I would be begging and pleading for the case to be reopened. What's wrong with these people, they seem so cold and detached. :scared:

People with nothing to hide, hide nothing... Especially when it comes to their missing child. IMO

[/QUOTE]

I have never thought this was planned or even intentional. Personally I believe Maddie died either as a result of an accidental overdose or another type of accident and the parents covered it up. I don't think, and never have, that they beat her to death.

I don't think Patsy Ransey planned to kill her daughter either. I don't even think Jeffrey MacDonald planned to kill his wife and daughters or at least only premeditated the baby's murder when he figured he had to follow through with it to make his story work. But I don't think he planned the murders in advance. I think usually when a parent kills a child it was not pre-planned and therefore looking for a "motive" is a waste of time.

Its not that they are cold and detached, they have a typically British manner.

Brits are more restrained, stiff upper lip in public. they would show their emotions in private.

Yeah, I remember all those stiff upper lips when Diana died. No Brits weeping in the streets or conjuring up impromptu shrines. That's only us weepy Americans that do that.:seeya:

HLN just reported that the timeline for Madeleine missing is 45 minutes off. But I missed whether they said if it was 45 minutes earlier or later. :banghead: Anyone else catch that? And how could they determine that now, after all this time ? TIA

I don't believe their way of presenting themselves is significant, either. My mother was like that and don't think it's a clue to anything.
