I really don't like plea bargains; she should be given consecutive sentences. She has sentenced this 12 year old to a life time of repercussions from her crime.

DEADWOOD | Facing four felony counts of first-degree rape of a 12-year-old boy and a looming September jury trial, a former worker at the U.S. Postal Service office in Deadwood pleaded guilty to two felonies Thursday that could put her behind bars for at least 10 years.

Staci Jo Graves, 42, of Lead was arrested in late March after a Lawrence County Grand Jury heard testimony from six individuals, including Deadwood and Lead police officers, the young victim and two others who presumably are the victim’s parents...

...The plea bargain arranged between the Lawrence County States Attorney’s Office and Graves’ attorney, Matthew Kinney of Spearfish, included charges of sexual contact with a minor, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years, and solicitation of a minor, which could carry a 10-year sentence. Judge Macy explained to Graves that he could order her to serve those sentences consecutively.
