I am totally creeped out right now! What about pinhole cameras? DID LE CHECKFOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT? In HD's bathroom/bedroom? They are almost impossible to see with the naked eye. We know about the hunting cameras! had he been watching her shower, change clothes?? I bet he had images/footage of HD! THINK ABOUT IT! ~all the SD cards were missing from the hunting cameras!
The only thing I can think of would be momentos from past crimes/missing girls...

Do you know how to locate these cameras! You look through a cell phone with the camera on! Try it with your remote controller! Take out your phone open your camera app turn the remote end toward the lens and hit the on/off button! DID YA SE IT?? You can't see the red light with the naked eye, but as you look through your cell you CAN! You can use it in dressing rooms and public bathrooms as well, it works!

This is one of first ideas with respect to this case that has made any sense to me in this entire mess

I do believe within that maze of photos something has in fact been found with respect to Hailey

while I agree with some that if Hailey were in any of the photos SA would have already been arrested. ...but....they had to get a search warrant on his body for a reason, so imo it just may be that Hailey is in them and they are still trying to identify the perp in some of them. It may also be more than one perp... none of us know the content of the images and videos, what is depicted and what is hidden, what if there is nothing that is obviously identifiable and the proof LE needs may be so intricate it takes some time.....jmooc

I also think the search warrant for SA's body is to ID him in pics.His body could be in the pics,but,not his face.Also,any children in the pics may not have their face visible since one of the articles stated the pics MAY have an underage child.(I will go find the article).

Sounds like whoever stole the SD Cards from the Hunting Cams needed alot of storage for alot of pics.Sounds like SA.....

I never ever hinted that maybe HD was in the CP pictures. I was just wondering since LE stated that it is CP why haven't they tried to identify the child, and speak with those parents. Maybe the CP the girls are older lets say 14 who could identify or give LE more.

Dunn Search Warrant Affidavits Being Held in Howard County

So i'm wondering, is the affidavit they are talking about from an earlier search? Whatever it is they should post the actual document.

So this tells me that either there was another search warrant or Grandma gave up her computer voluntarily to LE.

The affidavit details that pornographic images were found among deleted e-mail files on Adkins' cell phone and on a computer in the home of Renee Norwood, Adkins' grandmother.

I think the affidavit they are talking about is the one used to obtain search warrants for Thursday. But in the affidavit they state, they already have searched forensically the grandmother's computer. Which means she either gave it up voluntarily or there were other warrants.

I don't know how SA can stand it. They are all over him and yet he acts like nothing is going on?

Toombs says this is the third search of the home in Dunn, Texas. He said the second search was consensual. Toombs noted was discovered in the second search, but he couldn't confirm it to be child . Toombs says the images are in the process of being analyzed.

So there you go Grandma let search which leads to the question is she cooperating with LE?

Weird teh and LisaB - the article was updated; you both quoted it correctly.

The first version just said .."every electronic device that law enforcement has been able to search"...

The updated version posted now says "every electronic device connected to Adkins that law enforcement has been able to search"...

Since the quote was supposedly pulled from the affidavit, it shouldn't change. I wish we could see the actual affidavit and find out what it really says...

and where she slept every night up until a few days before she disappeared. So did a frustrated Shawn try a bolder tactic and get caught by Hailey? IDK, but whatever happened I'm afraid it was horrific....

I was wondering the same Pondering Mind. He obviously likes dehumanizing images. If there's homegrown (which I strongly suspect), maybe filming without the faces or cropping them out later to be less incriminating?

I also wonder if masks were worn in the filming of the deviant images. Shawn loves those masks and they would also serve to hide identity. Remember, Billie said that she knew about the mask only because she was aware Shawn traded them, she had seen them on-line and it "wasn't good" (on Nancy Grace 1/17/2011). Then, she admitted that LE had confiscated "a mask" from her home (BTHN 3/3/2011 interview), but also mentioned a collection (plural). Then, Shawn mentioned that he personally owned masks, but only for "display purposes", moments later contradicting himself by stating that Hailey wasn't afraid of his masks because she wore them while they sat around watching horror, um comedy, movies together (BTHN 3/4/2011 interview).

Why so many inconsistencies about the masks? I think they play into the deviant images. Also think it's possible Hailey's DNA was found inside a mask(s) and it wasn't because she willing wore it to sit around the house with Shawn... JMO... :curses:

I think the photos were transfered electronically. They would have retained the "extended file information" that includes the model of the camera used. Photos taken of prints wouldn't provide that kind of information.

Didn't they take all the cameras early in the investigation? So these are recently acquired cameras. LE got wind there were new cameras. If child then there are more kids being victimized.

They took what seemed relevant in the first warrant, which was cameras phones and other electronic media and devices from BILLIE's house. I don't think they had a warrant to take things from Shawn's grandmother's or mom's houses during those early searches. When they got his Mom's computer it was because she gave that up voluntarily.

There's extra information encoded into the photo when you take it by the camera. It is there if you "right click" on a picture file and look around the various tabs.

The pornographic images were believed to have been made with the Kodak Easy Share Camera.

They were MADE.

Did they involve children?

Some were made. Remember Billie said he'd taken photos of their personal life in the bedroom and they were on the flash drive? They could have been taken with the easyshare camera. I am not familiar with that camera... can anyone tell me if it has a self-timer so you can set it and jump into the picture before in snaps the image?

According to search warrant affidavits acquired Friday by KTXS through the Freedom of Information Act, a warrant used by law enforcement in Scurry County on Thursday was specifically intended to look for more child on computers, discs and other digital devices Adkins has been using.
The affidavits stated that has been found on a second computer that Adkins used &#8211; and on his personal cell phone.

Shortly after hearing this latest HUGE break in the goings on of Hailey's investigation, I quickly came to the conlusion that atleast in part, LE motives were to prove that Shawn's "hobby" was infact an addiction, full fledged obsession by them reanalyzing already analyzed electronic devices that had proven to be positive for the deviant , emphasis on CP/BS type of deviant ..In retesting devices that have been shown to have the CP they IMO are clearly showing that tho Shawn knows full well this very intense and closely monitored investigation is pretty much full force, zeroed in on him..he still cannot control his desires,and extreme strong need for engaging in, viewing/downloading, exchanging, etc in the child for a period of time that he without a doubt know he is being extremely closely monitored..

This IMO speak volumes in proportions I've personally not seen.. A deep-seeded addiction and obsession..and it will be a 100% slam dunk case in convicting Shawn Adkins of child that IMO will definitely make headlines.

And now after having more time to read most articles, and see all the info that we have at this time, I have definitely concluded that this is indeed, as I said, atleast part of what they are attempting to prove...IMO they are steadily, methodically, and IMO thoroughly building an EXTREMELY DAMNING case against Shawn Adkins for the child charge... Will this lead us to Hailey? I am still not quite sure, but I can tell you one thing I am certain of and that is that this child involvement has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH WHY HAILEY IS NOT AT HOME SAFE AND SOUND IN CCITY AS WE SPEAK..jmo, tho!

BBM and color mine. I see you are probably right and SA mentioned HD wearing the mask in case DNA evidence was found on one of them. His way to excuse that DNA away. you are on to something!
