A second search warrant, served Thursday evening at the home of Billie Dunn, was a warrant for Adkins' body, signed by a Howard County judge. According to Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs, they were looking for an item Adkins commonly carries with him. He did not have it on him, Toombs said.

I was reading this on BigCountry and was wondering about the "item" that Adkins commonly carries with him.

Would that be a Memory Stick ? Cell Phone ? Do we know for sure what this "item" is ?

Sheriff Toombs said that SA did not have it on him ... I wonder if SA "ditched" the item before he went to Billie's or at Billie's ??

I have tried my best to read all of the posts, and I might have missed it, but does anyone think it's possible the warrant would be for his cell phone? I'm just thinking that even if they had a warrant for property (his grandma's), if the cell phone wasn't physically there, then it wouldn't be covered under the warrant, would it? It does appear that they were looking for anything and everything electronic that had any connection to him.

***I have an 18 year old daughter.... and I would describe her blackberry as being 'surgically attached' lol

That fits with Billie having to call his mom to come get him. He didn't have his phone. (?)

The flashdrive (or whatever they called it) that is always attached to his key ring would be another thing that he would always have on him. He'd always have his keys in his pocket. I do hope they found it and the four other ones.

I agree with you. I don't think he's very bright. In the BTH interview, he made a point of saying that he had gone home to his mother's house to "research" unemployment benefits. I guess he clicked on a couple of related links while he was attempting to erase his 🤬🤬🤬🤬 files...

I am not convinced he doesn't own a computer ! I think he has one and has a special place he goes to use it ! Pure speculation. But if you are a sex addict (and we are assuming he is ) you would have to have a fix often and you would not rely on getting that in someone else's home. JMO

Unless it's a business and they are your partner.

Do they have internet cafes in CCity? What about internet access at book stores, or even the library? He may not be able to go online and search them, but he could transfer stuff with the drives he supposedly has. Just a thought - pure madness from my brain only.

Yes, and you might also decide to use other people's computers and internet instead of your own if the "work" or hobby happens to be very illegal!

I'm not even sure that they have a Dairy Queen! Not much there...I think the closest thing to any type of public internet place would be the library or a motel where guests have access.

CCity has a Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Subway, Sonic just off of I-20. Some other types of restaurants within the city and types of food at convenience stores.

I think the library is probably as close as it comes to "internet bars"

When we lived there, we had "dial-up" internet because that was all that was available to us then through a company out of Abilene.

ok I have a question. I assumed the CP was just images of other people and/or children. So are these videos and images of SA and children??? Color me shocked if that is the case.

BBM: Interesting posts on the FB link under CB's entry requesting the affidavits be posted.

Why would Hailey's aunt expressly ask for these NOT to be released to the public?

Cause she's probably the one that tipped police off to the 5 flash drives and she's scared of Shawn?

The first part seems to be standard boilerplate electronic search warrant stuff. I didn't realize that the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 came from the slack space, obviously it would be interesting to know when it was deleted. The picture downloaded from Shawn's e-mail address is only suspected child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 (at least at the time of the affidavit). Also, it does seem like there is a missing computer (the laptop described to the parole officer?). Who is CRR?

JMO!!! I have a sneaky suspicion that investigators are going to find a picture of HD. Again, JMO!!!

Child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the 2 computers, not on the memory stick found at Billie's or Shawn's phone.

Here's what I would like to know. With all these devices having cp on them, why did no one else in the home notice these? Especially a computer.

What about internet history? No one noticed?

Well, well...from Shawn's email account, the forensic guy found adult 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and what appears to be CP. (faxed page 3)
