Glad you said that Sarx - I had been meaning to ask about water searches.

I really haven't heard of any - maybe just a talking head saying something or other.

Is the national guard looking for Lisa or cell phones?

About the only way to look for a live Lisa is to follow up on any tips or info coming from the interviews. And LE has shown they are are doing that. But they can search the immediate area for remains. That doesn't have to wait for a tip.

We only see the searches, so it can be easy to forget that they are continuing to look other ways too. But reportedly they had located Jersey earlier and talked to him, they checked out the diaper house, FBI checked out the alleged sighting in Calif, and the man with a baby has reportedly been located. And those are only the ones we know about. They are looking, it just isn't as public as the searches.

Nearly everyday by KCPD, FBI and unidentifiable (by me) groups of people by foot, atv, dogs, horseback, metal detectors.....I may have left some out.

Last night I also heard the Kansas City Port Authority.

The MO National Guard soldiers though are still searching the wooded area about 0.3 miles from the Irwin home where #LisaIrwin disappeared.

Mitch Weber is a TV journalist in KC MO.

They appear to be searching extremely close to the Irwin home..

The man with the baby in only a diaper? There are so many threads, moving so fast I must be having a hard time keeping up- could you tell me where that update can be found? TIA!

Thank you In Da Middle. Do you know if they've been searching the river as well and if so with what resources?

I know of 3 times they have been in the river with boats and divers is all I know. The river is MUDDY! Absolutely no visibility. It is still running high from the summer flood fiasco. We had a flooded river, but had cracks in my yard from drought and the river is just a few blocks away!

Statistically if Mom is involved there's a high probability she'll be found within a mile if memory serves...assuming the worst case scenario of course.

Phrasing this as MOO because I can't locate the study - cannot remember exact distances but female murderers tend to dispose of victims much, much closer than male perpetrators.

If she's in the river, she will only be found by luck, downriver, by fishermen or scavengers along the shoreline, I'd say.

Wondering about "the supposed but not verified 2:30 a.m. phone call/text" because if someone else was called for help they could've drove out of the area to dispose. However, close to the home is probably the best bet, as we learned in other cases.

The reason I chose this spot is the sighting of the man with baby on Chelsea. I followed his path south from there, and you wind up here:

They are searching there with equipment. If you or I were to search for anything weighted down, we would not see it. Absolutely no visibility in the water at the time. too muddy.

I think this was meant for me, my apologies. I did find that on Shad blog but didnt realize that her link came out but the other link did not. Do you accept things from her blog though. I want to follow the rules, just not sure what ALL of them are, still learning here. Once again, sorry.
