awww, the creek looks so naked! My doggies are going to be so upset.

They are stopping the flow at Chaumere Lake upstream (lake se corner of Chouteau & I-35 on map). So far the backhoe's are just being used to keep pumps submerged. Subject to change if needed.

That makes me think there were no cell phones in the bag LE took out of the neighbor's house.

Cell phones don't work in water - can verify that (LOL).

Do you know if they are going to keep the search going into the night?

Even IF and that's a big if, the phones were at another house, it doesn't mean that the occupant of that house had knowledge they were there.

They may not work, but they still can ping. Not after all this time, but in the beginning, they could have. Maybe that is why they are back in this area.

What if someone(s) was moving evidence around?

WOW! Lots of activity today. Please let Lisa be found today!

They need to start searching the river downstream. Why place a baby in a creek when the river is so close?

Remember CA put her little one just yards away from her home.

Residence searches were over a while ago. I could still hear the pumps in the creek a little while ago, but rain and dark setting real soon in so should be wrapping up.

Thanks for keeping us up to speed, Middle. You're doing a great job!

A little comment about yesterday's woods search. I dont think any of us can say these people (all entities involved in the search) aren't trying. These people are listening to us locals and those of us who grew up in those woods and creek about areas they should know about and things to watch out for. They are listening! They don't want us to go in and help and I totally understand why, but they ARE listening.

Which is exactly what they should be doing. Local info is invaluable.

That is great In Da Middle. So many times they don't listen. But the people who live there knows the neighborhood, the hangouts and the hiding places. I am so glad they are listening.

I'm sad to say, but I really believe LE is just searching certain places to rule them out, not based on any information at all. This baby could be nearby or who knows where...

In Da Middle can you think of anyplace the kids go to party that would be deserted? The lover's lanes? Because these are fairly young people who grew up in the neighborhood I am thinking that this would be the type of place they might take a deceased child.
