Searches for Lisa

Image snipped for space.

This area is of massive concern to me, too! I do not know of any searches being done here. This is a straight shot down 48th from the (possible) 4am sighting. They say the cemetery that is about half way in between the two places has been searched 2x but that is all that I know of around there.

it seems a little odd to me that there is just a random house in the middle of that area...would that building be visible from the road?

i wouldn't ever hide a body/baby or anything but that looks like a pretty good spot.do you know of this house? or any other people in your area know of it being there?

sorry for all the questions:innocent:

What is all that cleared area? Is it some kind of farm or something? :waitasec:

I think it isn't a house but an outbuilding. I am sure a lot of kids who grew up in Gracemoor (that neighborhood right there) know about it. It could belong to the house that used to be towards the very eastern end of Parvin. I 'think' Hunt Midwest owns that property now. They are the ones who own that area you see at the very end of Parvin Rd. That could very well be part of any searching barriers also - private property. Most of the searches so far have been on city-owned property. Everything I can think of so far has been owned by Kansas City Parks and Rec. Even today's search was.

The chicken place search seems interesting. Does anyone know if the family is of a particular religion? If that is out of line I apologize. Cemeteries intrigued me too in this case for some reason. Particularly Mount Olivet. One by a church in Smithville and one in Raytown.

I just did a property search and that property is definitely owned by Hunt Midwest. Definitely private property. Sarx, Oriah, can you chime in as to what it takes to be able to search private property. Like I said already, all of the known searches to my knowledge so far have been city-owned. That area has bugged me if we are to believe that the 48th & Russell happened (something my mind won't quite let me dismiss).

One thing I find a tad interesting about the chicken place is that didn't DB said she made a chicken dinner for the neighbor and the kids?

You need permission from the owner of the property to conduct a search on it.

Oh but there IS proof. The mother admitted she was drunk when her husband was at werk and during that time the mother was in charge of 3 children.,.....one of which disappeared. There is plenty proof.

IF she were visibly drunk when the police responded to the 911 call then the onus was on the police to do a blood alcohol test or at least a PBT on her. Without either of those, where is the tangible proof she was drunk?

I was hoping to get some input from the SAR experts or others with expert opinion about why there is no further searches? At what point do most of the LE teams say ok we stop ? And any thoughts as to why the family is stating they were told them nor volunteers could help? I dont remember this being told in prior cases. I know...everyone might say its because they have found evidence otherwise but lets think they differently and say they havent. Why are we sitting still?

BBM

LE/FBI don't want the family/friends searching; they make that point with the 'poison well' comment. The exact words from the FBI agent to me was when I got involved, ‘we don’t want them poisoning the well.’

'Poisoning the well' is the POV that family associates would skew any finds, i.e. loss of 'chain of custody' of any evidence and 'fruit of the poisonous tree is the POV that LE has done illegal search and seizure.

The name fruit of the poisonous tree is thus a metaphor: The poisonous tree is evidence seized in an illegal arrest, search, or interrogation by law enforcement

i would hope that the company/person that owns this land would co-operate to let them search.

would this area be included in the 1/3-1/5 of a km that the cells pinged in?

would it fit in with the neighbour seeing a someone on the street at 12.15? as in the direction they were heading?

ive just read there is supposedly going to be a search today/tomorrow (im not sure due to the time difference) behind World of Fun theme park.

this this the area that i posted the photo of earlier? i google mapped it and it looked similar

i think its just a volunteer search not LE but i hope they are informed of it and maybe someone can accompany the seachers incase something is found.

Not within the 1/3 mile ping area and not in line with the 12:15 sighting, but directly in line with the 4 am sighting. Like right down the same street inline.

This is the exact area I would think this is in. This is what I would describe as 'behind' WOF (WOF is World's of Fun to locals!).
Glad to hear it! I hope Hunt Midwest doesn't quash it somehow.

i just hope this doesn't turn out like the caylee anthony discovery. i read up on that the other day and the guy reported something twice before a 3rd time she was found. :(

wish i could help more with this case but i think about 2000 miles could be a problem :floorlaugh:

The only reason I can see Hunt Midwest quashing would be safety issues and liability as a result. But LE based? No worries with liability... so I would think good to go?

Oh little one, where are you?

Just curious, but what type of outbuilding? Is it small, like a shack, or larger like a barn?

The reason I ask... one of the local radio stations I listen to has had a psychic from Canada call in weekly about this case. The guy hadn't heard anything about the case prior, and got a lot of things right (i.e. handyman, etc.) about things surrounding the case. This week, he said he sees a shack.

I don't know if it has any bearing, but just throwing it out there...

I am not certain if it is even there still. By looking at things I am certain of in my neighborhood I can tell that image is not a current one. But I believe it was like a small storage area. Not positive about that though but swing around it using the bing map birds-eye feature and it doesn't appear to be a house. The paths leading to it seem more utilitarian than vehicular.

Yeah, I don't think that's a current image of the structure(s).

Shoot to 1996-2004-2006...hmmm.

i just zoomed in on the image and it says 2010 on it at the bottom right hand corner, does that mean when it was taken or just uploaded to the site it came from.

i did google map the area last night and there didn't seem to be anything there on an updated image but knowing me i was looking at a totally different place :floorlaugh:
