Searches for Lisa

i just zoomed in on the image and it says 2010 on it at the bottom right hand corner, does that mean when it was taken or just uploaded to the site it came from.

i did google map the area last night and there didn't seem to be anything there on an updated image but knowing me i was looking at a totally different place :floorlaugh:
The google earth images of this area are much more current than the bing images.

You need permission from the owner of the property to conduct a search on it.

Maybe I am naive...but I can't help but think that the owners of private property would gladly "open their arms" to LE for searches if they have nothing to hide. (No pun intended! (-: )

I do need to correct something I mentioned before about all of the searches being on public property. The search east of N Brighton is private property. Getting permission may have been why it took longer to be searched?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought KCPD's Steve Young at one time said they had gotten like 200 homeowners to consent voluntarily to their homes being searched. I remember it being a huge number because I was left breathless at how high it was. It certainly wasn't a couple of dozens. And seems like all but two in the immediate neighborhood were searched right away and they went back to those two later. Sorry I haven't read all of this thread so if the conversation is about wooded areas or outdoor areas being searched my apologies.

I didn't hear of anybody at all that did not consent to a search. So I am pretty confident that the 'sprinkler house' was searched. They just might have had to wait until the owners were home. That very day they were concentrating on the very area of the 'sighting' and where this person would have cut through and that area of the townhouses. It makes much more sense now after putting some pieces of the puzzle together. The media that was clueless as to why it seems as they had no clue of why or that would have been leaked. LE very definitely was investigating the claim of the sighting and the dumpster fire on the very day she was gone. At the same time, they were all over the woods also. They were EVERYwhere in the area asap.

It was amazing how many people allowed searches of their homes. Shocking.

I heard the same thing about the owners of the sprinkler house not giving consent to search the inside of their home just a couple of days ago in the media. They gave consent to search yard but not inside of house. Now if I could remember where I heard or read it. It was either one of the HLN shows or Spellman's twitter...I think.

I would love to know where this was mentioned! If it was JS at least he would have more than likely put where he heard this from. If it was MK stating it, well.......

That means that's the date when that specific satellite image was taken (and contracted by google earth to use- like a trademark.) It does not mean that's the most recent satellite image at all. :)
HTH.

I saw an interview with spellman and he was interviewing the lady that lives
next door and she said the neighbors were out of town but later were fond and consented to a search of the home.. nothing was found.

This is exactly what I had heard.

BBM -I thought that too untill the Hailey Dunn case. There were quite a few landowners that refused permission for people to go in and search for her.

Local PI sheds light on why no search parties for missing Baby Lisa

http://www.examiner.com/missing-per...n-why-no-search-parties-for-missing-baby-lisa
I feel like many of these people are just looking for "action" to keep their own names out there for self promotion. If the Irwin's told investigators all they had knowledge of, in earlier interrogations and were treated like baby killer's I can see where they would think it's no use. Perhaps, they have nothing new to add, nothing to help. I can also understand the attorney's not wanting separate interviews. Hey, that would take twice the time of them. Yes, they could fire the legal counsel but then where would they be? They don't have the money to hire replacement.
I have seen no evidence to lead me to believe the parents had anything to do with the disappearance of baby Lisa. It looks to me like any one of a number of characters could be the guilty party.
And lastly I am of the mindset that if one beats a dog when it's down and it survives, chances are it will come back and bite them on the butt!

I was very sadden to read what the PI said in the article. If what he said is true regarding organized search parties, I blame it all on LE. These parents were clearly accused of murdering their daughter (mom especially) and that had/has a huge effect on public perception hence the "mom did it" mentally so why bother. People took the cadaver dog hit as 100% positive proof that baby Lisa is dead and died in the hands of her mom which may be not the case at all and the hit may have been a false positive. Add to that, LE giving conflicting statements regarding the parents cooperation which only sparked more outrage.

Very very very sad.

Yes, it is "Very very very sad." Unless a person has walked in their shoes they don't know. I imagine I would be bewildered, angry and out of my mind. But people need to keep searching and doing all they can least they start thinking it can't happen to them.
A few years ago I helped in the search of a child who came up missing from my county. They found her remains a long time later. The parents are always accused. But guess what? We still have a murderer walking among us!
Cadaver dogs are only a tool. The hit could have been from a thrift store rug or maybe those boys are like mine were and ran around barefooted and got a toe or something cut. Innocent things happen and people's perception are often not the way it really is. The horror is that people stop looking for a baby and the real answers.

:seeya:I have to disagree that it is the LE's fault because the "parents were clearly accused of murdering their daughter", it was the parents taking to the airwaves we learned about that, as well as the box of wine, how many drinks, may have passed out. All that didn't come from police but JI & DB.

The dog hit came from the Affidavit to the Warrant, which police didn't want released and tried to have it sealed IIRC, but it fell under FOIA or the like. With all due respect, the parents have only themselves or their lawyers to blame and I do not fault anyone for having a negative opinion regarding the current situation.

Pfff . . . I disagree as well. It certainly is not LEs fault that there aren't any searches. Why is there absolutely NO ONE in the DB, JI and family clan out searching. It's because they know where baby Lisa is. The parents are the ones who have set the example. They do not search, they get lawyers and they muddy waters with changing their stories. They have done ZERO to find their little girl. This is a scam or coverup, IMO.
