Searches for Lisa

  • #221
Was the river ever searched in the beginning?
How far is it from the Irwin house?
It just seems like the logical place to dispose of a body at night.
And I'm wondering if someone could leave the house, dispose of the body
in the river and return to the house in a short time.
If that's what happened, it would take a miracle for her tiny body to ever be found
at this point.

Has the family contacted any professional search groups? Of course they do not want to acknowledge that the baby may not be alive, but wouldn't they want her found, regardless? And if locals are not willing to volunteer based on perception of the crime, that is horrible. Still, it is the parents and the lawyers who have indicated that they are suspects, not LE.

Pfff . . . I disagree as well. It certainly is not LEs fault that there aren't any searches. Why is there absolutely NO ONE in the DB, JI and family clan out searching. It's because they know where baby Lisa is. The parents are the ones who have set the example. They do not search, they get lawyers and they muddy waters with changing their stories. They have done ZERO to find their little girl. This is a scam or coverup, IMO.
If you recall, the family did do a search and we know all of the ruckus that created. Most seemed none too happy when it did happen.

With local law enforcement, National Guard Military Police, the FBI, and Secret Service involved I really doubt they want the general public out beating the bushes.

The river has had several searches. One was done the very next day if I recall correctly.
The river is close, but on foot , at night, it wouldn't be any too fast.

This has to be the biggest reason people don't volunteer to search.

How many of us who are parents would be ‘resting’ indoors rather than going out looking for our child, or passing out fliers?” Rugen asked. “I couldn't sleep or eat if I were in that position.

Maybe if the DB/JI camp would stop releasing little tidbits about THEIR daily lives, and actually went on camera ASKING people to help search for Lisa, others might be willing to help. There needs to be a starting point, without DB/JI speaking to LE, it makes it a little tough. The parents, their PI's and attorney's have done nothing to aid in the search for little Lisa. Today was about the move, yesterday about Dane, polygraphs, blah, blah, and so forth. When are these parents going to cooperate and make a public plea for the return of their daughter? JMO

Yes, we locals were asked very kindly to NOT search. They very kindly took any information and suggestions we had and told us that if we had any other places in mind to contact them to search it.

Well now that LE has left the area and there is supposedly a 100k reward for information, I would think that some local people would be traipsing through those woods on their own at this point. There could be some 100k cell phones in there. ;)

Speaking of that reward, when was the last time a representative or JI and DB themselves put out a plea and mentioned that reward? :waitasec:

These parents just seem way too content to sit back and let their daughter's case go cold.

So this area is south of the Waffle house and near where the man is seen by the motorcycle guy right? Might as well search this area, IMO. I'm seeing a creek or river in terrain view in Google maps.

Sorry now I see in the map on the woman's blog that the search will be the North shore of the river at the bridge and the surrounding area.

On the river south of it. Can't hurt to search anywhere and everywhere.

How far is this area from DB's house? Is it within 1/3 mile?
A bit over a mile or so. Maybe two miles. The property on the north west quadrant of the river and 435 highway

Got the distinct impression that the general public was not welcome to search.

anyone else having high expectations for this search? Or is it just me and wishful thinking for a conclusion?

Why? Stepping on their toes? :waitasec:

Stepping on their investigation. And having to respond to a lot of calls they wouldn't otherwise get, tying up an already very busy day.

JMO, of course.
