Because she's not about to spend a dime on a dress if someone will loan her one for free. She constantly borrowed from, took from, and used everyone she ever knew, especially the men. I imagine she was giving them "something" in return. She's a disgusting, loathsome parasite.

I think she was trying to "play poor" so Travis would feel sorry for her and then she could make him feel like her hero for rescuing her and getting Cinderella a dress to wear to the ball. Another manipulation for her.

Travis and his family were generally very helpful to anyone of lower income/the homeless I believe. So she sure milked it, but he was generally generous at heart....

Ya know, I bet the Warden in Perryville heard about Jodi's student-exchange trip to Costa Rica (normally reserved only for students entering their senior year of high school, but wisely offered to Jodi because... well... because she's so darned special (thankfully before she dropped-out after her sophmore year), and have arranged for her to participate in
a pilot program that exchanges prison inmates from different countries for a period of one year. You know... for the cultural experience.

And she has SO much to offer prison inmates in third-world countries -- can teach tracing, she can teach inmates to throw recyclables in the special blue trash cans ("Platino, no. Azur, si"), she can teach Spanglish (see: recycling program), she can teach math equations (if you're driving a thousand miles and have three five gallon gas cans weighing 30 pounds each...). See? She really does have more freedoms than most of the people on the outside. I mean I could never do all that. But she can. So there's a feather in her cap!

But seriously... she probably just threatened to sue the state of Arizona if she couldn't get a booking photo that looked like it was taken at Glamour Shots in front of Macy's (next to the kiosk that has the pedo pamphlets that are free for the taking) and caption the photo, "#Inmate 281129. More beautiful and statuesque than all the rest"

But I was half hoping the Perryville warden had read our post implying Jodi might need a new mug shot to reflect how "happy" she is in prison, a sort of "before and after" mug shot with the after being a lot worse than the before.

Can you IMAGINE........ how livid her face must look these days?

Really, I wonder why they took down the mug shot? Maybe she's been getting letters from penpal guys delighting in how they've jerked off to her evil photo? This puts S&M in a whole different universe, LMAO. Since all her mail is censored....

It looks as though the prison site is having problems with any photos displaying on it. Damned, I thought it might be because she was just "too beautiful" to show such an ugly mug shot, after-all; most women are just jealous of her...... LMAO.

I'm back inside the courtroom with Day 19 Part 3 of the evidentiary hearing, Pseudo is explaining the cookie file and the UPorn cookies that appear there, they were a referral from Alexa (at 14:35 on this video), which Pseudo is calling a 'search engine, like Google, Yahoo, etc. but I don't think that's a correct view, it provides mainly internet analytics for businesses - from Wiki:

I don't believe that Travis used the Alexa toolbar to search for sites (the first cookie was after 3:00 a.m. and cookie times related to videos went through at least 10:30), I think it came from the viruses he had on his laptop that survived the cleaning (was it Taylor Searle who he called to help him with this on June 1st?). Not that it matters, it had really nothing to do with the case itself, but it is annoying to have a 'data scientist' describe something that is misleading in a courtroom where it was somewhat possible the judge could have accepted this at face value and agreed with the defense on this motion, and what a miscarriage of justice that would have been, imo.

I like the concept of the "junior year abroad" for prisoners and how important it is for everyone to have a feel for other cultures and how they do things. In Jodi's case in particular, a stint in Peru, with first hand experience in prison life (cf. Van Der Sloot), might be especially enlightening. Failing that, Myanmar? In the jungles of Myanmar, they'd probably have a real Mormon for lunch; gotta think they'd be a little tougher on fake Mormons. Heck, even the shots to go to these places would be too much for the Arias to bear:way worse than a nick with a razor blade. Oooooooh! Good one: off-the-grid wilderness Alaska! Life around grizzlies would be way worse than life in a cage with electricity. Only source of company? The occasional plane. Except in winter. Cut bait or chop wood, Jodi!

I guess I'm one of few who believe that there was something to that convo about her freaking out about being caught at something and needing an attorney. We'll probably never know what it was, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be shocked. IMO, it had to do how she was making a living - he used the word scamming, so it may have been a fairly involved scheme she was running. Whatever it was, maybe TA was the only person that knew the details - he had to go once she devised a plan to get out of her trouble.

I also think there was something to it, bad enough that she didn't want it typed out. Or maybe it was typed in an e-mail or text and was withheld as too prejudicial and more detail of it exists, to be seen once everything is unsealed. One can hope.

I mentioned in my post yesterday that I was on Day 19 Part 3 of the evidentiary hearing, which is incorrect, Day 19 is regular trial with the jury present, Pseudo testifying confused me (and when I last left off the vids I thought I was still knee deep in that hearing), sorry for any confusion folks.

Actually, it was a toolbar, much like Bing, where it suggested sites supposedly based on browsing history, but was under fire back then(if not still) for sites being able to buy their way to the top of suggested sites. Iirc, Google bought it out in 2008 and turned it into more of just an analytic tool.

She could just have done it herself on his computer, either in person, or more likely—since this may have been retaliatory behavior when she was in Yreka—remotely from hers. It's not hard at all to control someone else's computer remotely: I was installing software (Timbuktu) that would do that in 1990. She wouldn't have had to use a software in 2008, just turn on Sharing in the Preferences panel.

My only encounter with Alexa was back in the early or mid '00s, first time I used a spyware scan it turned up something related to Alexa (though I had no extra toolbars, always disliked the screen real estate stealers), I asked around about it and was told 'you don't need that' so let it delete it and never saw another reference.

Sometimes I think we give JA too much technology credit, although possible for her to remotely control his computer, I tend to doubt she had the wherewithall to actually manage it, even when you practice very safe surfing habits you can still encounter malware or a virus and some let in lots of their 'friends'. File sharing sites are famous for bringing along creeps to the party, I think T just got ahold of a nasty that opened the door to many others.

I finsihed Day 19 last night with half an ear, when Pseudo said Spybot couldn't protect a computer from going to malware sites (which its Immunize feature is the genesis of all the links) it was hard to give any creedence to what he was testifying to. I think Flores is on the stand next, not going to be easy watching the DT bash him.
