Evening of 12/8, cont. (BTW, if you don't see a reply to a text the killer sent TA that's because there wasn't any).

JA has stopped by (4:30 ish, maybe) to drop off the check to TA and has left. He's baking cookies- lots and lots of cookies, and is expecting a houseful of guests in a few hours. He's baked a special batch for Lisa, his own invention.

6:58pm. JA to TA . call me.

7:38 . JA to TA. Cookie 4 Jodi.

7:42. TA to JA. 20 min text me again.

8:03. JA to TA. Cookie 4 Jodith.

10:20. JA: I left my phone charger at yr house on the island. Keep it safe til I get there tomorrow.

11:30pm. TA to JA. I need wireless key.

11:52am. JA sends him the #

From midnight to around 1 A M. Travis texts with Lisa about the party and joking about how his special cookies for her turned out.
In the middle of that exchange comes this text from JA:

12/9 12:37 AM. JA to TA-

When at times you wish your troubles would evaporate like bubbles, and trials and tribulations neither won't stop coming from the ether, just remember yr amazing and in no time will be blazing down that familiar lane of hope and success and gain. You're loved. Good night.

12:40am. TA to JA. Thank you. Good stuff. Good night.

And went right back to involved texting with Lisa.

* For sure. She and/or her lawyers tried everything in their power to avoid her being exposed as a liar in real time (clearing the courtroom, testifying to a jury only, sealing testimony, nixing live television coverage, etc, etc). And probably also for the defense team to try and get away with stuff.

But that's what she gets for seeking out television cameras and going on a pre-trial media campaign. :D

I forgot about that secret testimony. I bet she planned on telling more about the killing that she mysteriously remembered. But she was going to weave another tall tale that EDIFIED her desperate attack against a bionic man able to attack her even tho he was mortally wounded. If anything leaked out she could demand a retrial because of leaking secret testimony. THAT COURTROOM WAS EMPTY. Willnot and Nurmi knew what she was going to do. She really thought she was special. Did that jury ever comment on what they thought of her secret testimony? She wanted no one in that courtroom that could go out and dispute what she said. She really thought she could win that jury over, but also she wanted to spin some more evil lies about Travis and hurt the family.

I thought I'd skip quoting the above texts that Hope has wonderfully put together.

What is a wireless key? The password for wifi?

It's striking how often TA ignores JA. He's not in a "relationship" at all; she's not even classified as a friend good enough to come to a cookie party that even includes people TA doesn't know.

Did she write that last text or is she quoting something? Either way, it's nonsensical. It's a bunch of sprinkled-in archaic words, Jodith's favorite mode of elocution.

He didn't smell a rat when she asked for his Associate #? Seems like he didn't respond. But he didn't object. Weird.

Also, for however many hundreds of thousands of text messages TA and JA had, 90% of them seem to have come from Jodi. TA's communications with others seem much more intimate (as in close, not sexual) and three-dimensional.

While I'm thinking of it, Jodi's claim that she did maid service for him has to have been a lie, since he didn't have any money.

Have you noticed how many things JA broke or ruined? TA explicitly mentions it in these texts. It's true she doesn't give a rat's 🤬🤬🤬 about other people's property, but was the breakage malice or stupidity? Did she break her own stuff? Did she break her other boyfriends' stuff?

Jodi is never not in a rage. She was already threatening TA in February? "Sorry, just joking...."

She did clean his house, and he WAS broke, and it was as a favor to HER because she had even less money. Because she was too obsessed with stalking him to hold onto any waitress job for very long.

I think she broke his things on purpose and stole way more from him that we know about.

The associate #? He was collecting PPL points and others asked him for the same info so they could post the points to his acct. From the texts it looked like she was telling him to give her the info so she could give to someone else who could help. RIGHT.

She wrote that trash herself, but that's not what made me want to puke, bad as it was.

She had just terrorized him and Lisa, had cost him $1,100 he didn't have , putting him further in the hole he already felt very pressured by, and had made him carless- less able to function- and made him feel, in his words, railroaded into helplessness.

Asked to drive over a check he can't get himself, she tells him wait and takes her sweet time, texting about rainbows.

She leaves her charger on purpose, nags him repeatedly with texts when that poor man is having a cookie party to try to feel quasi normal, and that psycho evil twisted beiotch has the GALL to text him that about his " tribulations" coming from the " ether" ?!?

Jury members did comment on her testimony in that group interview directly after the non-verdict.

Every juror who spoke up about her star turn in the star chamber said they not only didn't believe her, but that she was laughingly unbelievable, especially about her expressions of "remorse."

I can't believe I'm back to really thinking about what that 🤬🤬🤬 did to Travis. I knew signing back up to BK was a bad idea....;)

Do you think it was worth it to pay for BK's site? I wonder why Juan didn't point out that CMJA texted Travis 100 times more than he did her. No wonder she kept checking his messages, she knew he wasn't really interested in her. Even that older man didn't want to marry her just sleep with her. He was a real loser. I still think Juan should have asked her and her expert witnesses why she was texting him ten times to his one. That shows her obsession with him and his total lack of real interest in her. He never encouraged her to move to Mesa and he didn't pay for it. She used money she should have been paying for the mortgage and the bills at her house in Desert Palm. I think his friend was right when he said Travis was very angry she moved to Mesa and so close to him. She knew she was losing him and the limited sex she was able to give him. By moving closer she could sneak into his house at night and climb into his bed. The one thing that really bugs me is why he let her lead him into that sex tape. That was just stupid on his part. By then he knew he couldn't trust her.

Talking to Troy Hayden after the verdict she told him that Travis talked about having sex with a 12 year old and by definition that is a pedophile. That is not what he said, he said she sounded like a 12 year old having her first orgasm. Not the same thing and she made an effort to sound like a kid. Remember how she made him repeat it? Also when talking to Ryan Owen from ABC she said just because she lied it didn't by definition make her a liar. I couldn't believe that one. She likes that phrase "by definition" she must have heard it somewhere or read it and it stuck in her evil brain. If she was ever to get another trial a GOOD prosecutor and a GOOD judge could make mincemeat out of her with all the contradictions she had said at one time or another. I want to know about all the sealed info and discovery they don't want to come into evidence and the public venue. I bet some of it is about money Travis had at home and was taken when she left. Juan may have evidence that Travis had a lot of money in his house but the judge wouldn't let it come in because of the probative value rule. The prosecution wasn't sealing all that information, it was the defense , because it would hurt their client. I just wonder how much we didn't get to hear and if we will ever get to hear it. I have read about other cases and some of that withheld information gets out. Remember if the prejudice out weights the probative the judge won't let it in. Another thing about the parents not testifying, I think they had information that Juan could get out of them that the defense definitely didn't want the jury to know about, especially from the father. They did not abuse her and Juan knew it. I don't think the father would have lied and he could have made mincemeat out of that mother without being mean to her. There is something very bad they know and the defense doesn't want it out. Even her sisters and brothers didn't testify or any of her so called friends. Darryl didn't do her any good. He looked like he was lying and Juan proved it. Besides we got a look at his hands and he was the one holding that penis that was shown in court. The person holding it had older hands and squared off nails not like Travis's younger and neater one. I wonder why the prosecution didn't bring in a hand expert to prove that. It would show her manipulation and lies once again. That still bugs me to this day.
One other thing I want to ask you ladies and gentlemen, where did that statement about "corking the pot" come from. Nurmi implied it came from the sex tape, but I don't remember hearing that. I did hear ALV say something on the stand but I don't remember her saying it came from the tape rather it came from CMJA I believe. Does anyone out there remember?

TWO state appeals paid for? Dream on. There's one. But it is interesting they are pushing for donations again right now.

The scary part is that they might have raised $90,000!:scared::scared::scared:

She's just downright rude too. Never a 'please' or 'thank you', just do this, do that, hurry up, I need, I want, I, I, I, me, me, me.

Can someone post what things she broke or ruined that we didn't know about from the texts? Thanks so much. It is infuriating- all over again. Oh how I hate her.

Do we know what the check was? It was evidently a check that belonged to him, right? In an envelope addressed to him? Not her money? She's managed to, oops, drive away with it?

If that upsets you then you must read the letter CMJA sent to her supporters from prison. I was furious. She even said that her attorneys told her to say whatever she wanted to the judge on sentencing day. "go for it " they told her the judge is going to give you natural life anyway. So Willnot LIED again. She claims she is perfectly content in prison and has seen lots of friends. Her cell is freshly painted and clean and the food is bland but nutritious. She doen't want the family or the rest of us to think she is suffering in any way.

Re: Jodi, wrote in her journal that something happened in an apartment that she had in Monterey , and that the deposit paid for the damaged.

She also wrote that she hadn't spoken to MM in three months and that he wasn't happy that she moved to Mesa also. She also wrote that MM had seen the bruises on her neck and told her to get a retaining order, and she wrote that she was leaving Mesa in a few days, and in the interview after the guilty verdict in her interview with Troy Hayden that she took photos of the bruises on her trip ,but it wasn't for any reason. What reason would it of been for? That was in April when Sandy showed up, so why would MM of been in Mesa then? He also met up with her when she returned to Yreka after she killed Travis.

And the photos were on a hard drive that her legal team didn't think it was important for her trial. This was also the same hard drive that had photos of Travis chasing a four year old little boy that was naked, and Travis was wearing a priest collar and caring a Bible, but again her legal team that based her trial on him being a pedophile didn't think it was important .

Does anyone remember when Deanna found Jodi baking cookies at Travis's and was surprised she was there? Deanna drove over thirty minutes to Travis's because he asked her to check on Napoleon, Jodi said at trial that Travis had asked her to stay and watch Napoleon. I wonder if it was after Travis had his cookie party? She made it from a restaurant sized recipe .

That video is hilarious. Too bad, this couple hasn't read portions of the journals or the manifesto.

On another topic......JA's mug shot from Perryville was taken down, right? Does anyone know why?

I caught something about a cracked/broken Personal Development CD... Then there's the engine of the car she was paying him for.

These texts make me so angry. Angry at what Travis had to endure, and angry that ALV got paid to spew the nonsense she did that couldn't be farther from the truth.
