Sentencing and beyond- Jodi Arias General Discussion #3

Doesn't have Juan's emotional or intellectual depth. But oh well, perhaps there was some heavy 'altering/editing.' Sensationalized trial and all, they wanted a book deal, they got one...

I believe he has a ghost writer. I am guessing we can't conclude from any quotes that JM actually spoke the words that are given in quotation marks...

Are you thinking of the pics of her at her friend Patti's wedding? I don't recall seeing any other wedding pics... though I can certainly see her doing something like that and if she did you can bet she was wearing that engagement ring while she was there.:gaah:

Look at her finger. Is something sparkly on it? Is the camera the same as Travis's?

She has a ring on that finger, IMO, but what kind I do not know. If TA saw this picture, he may have seen the ring, maybe the 'missing' one. By the way was the ring ever returned to TS's family?

I know nothing about cameras.

I saw that the felon was denied....but denied what? Does any know?

Relates to the back and forth about Paul Ahler obtaining access to sealed records for an investigation unrelated to her appeals.

In one of their motions her attys argued that the Superior Court didn't have legal authority to unseal the records because COA now has jurisdiction. In the entry you're referring to the Superior Court is saying- we waited for the COA to rule out of abundance of caution, but they denied you and now we are too. The records may be unsealed for Ahler's investigation, game over.

(The other discussion in entry is basically her attys saying the State's Motion for access should be stricken because it didn't include the proper language (notation of ex parte).

Judge on that said tough katoodies, the State was perfectly justified in asking for what they did how they did, given what is being investigated. Whatever that is, which of course is still secret.

The ring was returned. I think it may have been returned by March 18 (it was taken on the 16th, iirc) because Travis texts Deanna on the 18th that "the ring" had been "found." No mention of the killer taking it, but there wouldn't have been.

Thanks I missed that info.

Thanks again...you wrote it so I could understand it!

Could of been "found' but not returned yet, because of she'd explain later.

Thank you, Hope. I used to be a legal secretary and still couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Well knock me over with a feather! Returning Travis' ring to him had be the nicest thing Arias did in her entire life. Ever.

I wonder if she only "borrowed" it so she could be the center of attention at Pothead Patty's wedding -- if only in her mind?

I imagine the marriage-worthy Princess spent a lot of time using her left hand to get her hair "just so". (if you know what I mean ;))

OMG, some one named " pocketaccent" has a bounty over their head

I'm still alive!!! I gave my sincere apology for bringing over Beth's material -texts here. I asked for their forgiveness for my ignorance, and promised not to do it ever again. And they forgave me.

Scary. I thought maybe Maria from England (she of great tour guide fame) had sent a posse for outing her.

Maria is not exactly a British name.....
