Looking at the time spent on Gmail, my pure speculative guess now is that Travis was still on the computer, not the killer.


She couldn't have arrived (made herself known) before or during Daft videos. Theoretically she could have arrived immediately afterwards and have been disposed of somehow by Travis within the 9 minutes which elapsed before computer activity resumed.

Doubtful, IMO. I think Travis took a little break and returned to YouTube, this time watching a video about serving the web by proxy. For whatever reason, relating to her or not. Then he checked his Gmail, briefly, then went to his webpage.

When did she go into his house? While he was awake, after this web activity? Then why say she watched videos with him?

BTW, I think she entered through a window in his office, and that's why the screen was down. His bedroom is over the garage (too noisy, might wake him up) and she might be seen going through the front door.

I read that as she sent him an e-mail during the chat, and that was what his remark was about (she was supposedly taking a lot of time writing a long e-mail and whatever she sent wasn't anything near the length she made him think she was writing).

That's exactly how I read it.

This brings up yet another thing that has me confused: If the BMW was damaged to the point where it was sitting waiting to be either repaired at great expense or trashed, why did Jodi try to lay claim to it with TA's estate executor? Why would she want a vehicle that was either never going to function properly or would cost a lot of money to get it functional? Would her trying to claim the vehicle with the executor be a way to get the car titled in her name solely so she could collect on an insurance claim for the damage?

I don't know what a used BMW would have been worth in 2008, especially a seriously damaged one. Enough to make that scheme worth her while or not?

Didn't she also try to say Travis would have wanted her to have Naps? I am not sure where I heard that but IIRC she did try to claim that. Can you imagine if she had been successful with that? At least the pup dodged that bullet!

Yes, she wanted the insurance money. It also might not have been 100% trashed? Do we have only her word for the UHaul debacle? Why would the estate have wanted it?

Another question and yea I could probably spend a few weeks and go back and reread all the threads myself... but does anyone recall why everyone seems to think she took Hwy 93 up to Kingman and didn't backtrack past Buckeye to Hwy 95 and up that way, getting lost, having a bonfire, cleaning her car, washing her hands, or whatever... and then on to LV the back way? She could have avoided Hoover Dam, still gotten north of Kingman for the ping and could easily have thought she was outside AZ at a few points... I think.

Does anyone remember when TA found Zach's camera in his BMW?

I came across this and it reminded me that at one point I was going to try to find out if the memory card for the camera that took this pic would have been compatible with TA's new camera. The date is intriguing too, was it photoshopped("Adobe Photoshop CS2 Windows Date and Time (Modified) 2007:10:12 00:00:27") about the same time as the camera was in the car?

That's exactly what I think. She got immediately out of Arizona, and there was no Hoover Dam. In the interrogation, Flores said she pinged on the Arizona side of a group of mountains in the northwest corner of Arizona.

I think she got confused in the interrogation and forgot what her storyline about getting lost was supposed to be.
