Local news just said it was the friend that called Shannan in as missing, not the husband. For what it’s worth...

I think what may have happened is that the friend called for the welfare check, and the husband called to report her missing. imo

This MIL was leaving out nuts around a child who can DIE if they eat nuts.
That is a totally different thing. Attempted murder as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks. I know as my husband has a medically diagnosed intolerance to foods. Was just trying to sum up something to answer this person's question and I forgot whether one or both girls were allergic, and just heard about mom's medical issues, so thought the word "tolerate" would be a good cover-all. Hope you feel better.

Most every home in the area has gas heat. So it has natural gas going to the home. That entire neighborhood also has solar panels on the homes

People that kill their families rarely get away with it. Not sure why anyone would think they could do it better than their predecessors. How about just leaving instead?

Child support for 3 children, not to mention health insurance because she's basically a stay at home parent. Thrive I wouldn't see as a steady or reliable career. JMO

I can’t fathom a dad killing his kids. That’s the sticking point for me. I can see him dropping his kids off somewhere if he was going to hurt Shannan, but not killing them all.

Friend called for the welfare check which led to her being reported as missing. CW saw them at his door through the doorbell camera thingy and came home. I don't have a link for that so....

I am not going to lie, if things go south and that pup is headed for the pound, I am heading to Denver. Trust me the last thing I need is another dog, but someone has to care for him. I hope family or friends will swoop in and take care of him and love him up. IMHO

No I mean a scenerio where she walked out on her own with the kids. A way she disappeared not involving the Elephant in the room. If the deadbolts are keyed and all locked her keys are in house, so unless a spare, that is not possible. out a window barefoot...??? Anyone....any ideas? IMHO

Through the garage, into a side door if they have one, into a side yard connected with the backyard. Then out back to a waiting car. Cameras would not pick that up.

However, a side door would be open.

I'm thinking this could not have been planned because it makes no sense. How do you kill your family but not leave anything to suggest they could've gotten out? Why not leave an open back door or window?

They just said the friend made the “missing persons” call to LE. But I remember the welfare check call being made too. Who knows...

I'm thinking he didn't count on the friend not only coming by but alerting authorities right away, maybe he was going to come from work and stage a break in when he had more time then call the police JMO
