I'd also like to know his regular work hours - which would coincide when he would regularly work out if it was a routine with him. You'd assume an overnight shift would be 11pm - 7am (overnight shift / "midnights" like LE); so 5:30 would be unusal for him to be there.

Bouncing off your post:
His third shift work, and personal bodyguard doesn't jive.
What, he watches her sleep.

Hello All,

SuziQ, seems I recall having read that this gym thing was a pattern of his -- along with calling family at X'oclock AM.

ChesterGal, welcome to the gang!

Hmmm...okay, so if Chris is not so bulked up as in past photos, was he really "not" going to the gym on a daily basis? Of course, the Gold's account would probably show that eh? I don't think it is likely that anyone loses bulk in just 6 days of trauma, do they?

Medusa -- when I was a little girl, if my hair wasn't combed, my mother would go tell me to comb it because I looked like the Medusa. Thank goodness I never saw a rendering of Medusa at that age, nor until much older, I might have had nightmares!

And to all -- I can't imagine a triple slaying not being CRIED OUT about by the family (scratching head.)

Also...family vigil photos here

W

Edited: I am not criticizing the family, just wondering if they know something we don't.

About the bulkiness... keep in mind Sheri was teeny-tiny, so he looked HUGE next to her. I thought he looked pretty much the same...wasn't as tall as I thought he'd be, but didn't look "thin" to me. Looked toned, but in that shirt you really couldn't tell - it was too distracting. But look at his legs when he sits down in the car on the fox video - his legs are definitely big & toned.

He looks like an imitation of Vic on "The Shield" to me, in his old picturers.

If you watch the video (Chris Coleman provides fingerprints to police), they give out more information on several things including Chris was giving a "second set" of fingerprints to LE plus you can see and hear Major Jeff Connor stating there was indeed a court order. It is very interesting to get a visual while he is talking. ;) Reading between the lines is essential in this case.

Bold is mine... that is SO true! What is not being said is saying a lot. We know from CC himself he was at Golds Gym... and I know it's the Concord location by comparing the stores in the video against the addresses of the Fenton & Concord Golds locations (assumed Fenton early on, I was wrong). We know MCS has combed the 255 route from the Coleman home that would be taken to the gym. If they didn't have a suspect or any information leading them that way, why would they be combing through the tall grass & weeds along 255 and looking under the JB bridge?

I fully trust Major Connor when he says they are confident this case will be solved, and am glad they're taking their time dotting their i's & crossing their t's because this perp needs to pay for what he did to these 3 beautiful people.

Hallo All and SeriouslySearching,

Boy, I sure wouldn't want the personal scrutiny personally, but did look at that Fox video.

I kept replaying Chris' walking, then left hand in pocket, then out... Wish there was someone who had seen him walking before that could see whether that was a typical walk of his. I saw a kinda, "Aw shucks" type of walk -- I didn't sense a walk like, "Can't all of you media people see that my heart is grieved beyond imagination." Granted, this may mean nothing -- but it wasn't what I expected, nor was the look on his face. What would I expect, a face that looked torn by grief -- I didn't see that.

I have wondered that as well.

I am sorry you were shot down, because I keep thinking about this. It makes sense to me - we have all heard this before. Not certain, but, it sure could be.

Now that you mention it, I didn't see the grief or agitation either. He looked pretty nonchalant for a man who just lost his wife and children.

We've got 2 separate issues here.

If I am represented by counsel and my opponent is represented by counsel as well it is a breach of ethics for my attorney to talk to my opponent or for my opponent's attorney to talk with me UNLESS we consent. It is not a breach of ethics for our attorneys to talk to each other (obviously) but neither is is a breach of ethics for me to talk to my opponent or vice versa. It may not be SMART to do that but there is nothing wrong with it. I do it all the time (with my attorney's full knowledge, of course).

One line that I really get tired of hearing from people like Scott Peterson and other such scum is "I'm not doing X under advice of my attorney". What a cop out. I've been through this before on this board, but I've hired plenty of attorneys. I have never needed a criminal defense attorney although I have a very good one in town I would use and I have hired him for a family member who had no idea how to deal with a problem or how to find an attorney. When I - or anyone - hires an attorney it is NOT because you want someone to tell you what to do. You hire an attorney to help you get done what YOU want to do. The attorney works for you and if they are not working toward the goals you lay out they are not doing what you hired them to do.

If something happened to my wife, my kids or someone close to me suspicion would fall on me. Of course it would! As I know I would never harm my wife, my kids, etc. my goal would be to clear my name as quickly and publicly as possible to enlist the full confidence and support of LE and the public, to speed identification and arrest of the actual guilty party. To that end, I would instruct my attorney to tell the DA that I will be marching down to the police station for fingerprinting and questioning without need for service of process or arrest, and I would instruct my attorney to do so in the most public and obvious way possible. Then I would follow through exactly as I said I would.

On the other hand, if I was guilty I'd probably tell my attorney to keep me out of jail at any cost and have him run interference, and require the DA to jump through every hoop, cross every "t" and dot every "i", at which point I would comply at the absolute minimum legally required level.

If I was innocent I could still take the same route as if I was guilty. But why would I do that?

Which situation are we seeing here?

I totally agree, and feel the same way you do.Great post!

Thank you Adnoid! You have said everything so many of us have been thinking.

I have tried to be patient. I've tried not to APPEAR to be rushing to judgment, (as I've been accused of before).

But,...........as Adnoid said, 'what are we seeing here?'

Are we seeing the motions and emotions of an innocent man?

Sorry, I'm seeing NOTHING INNOCENT about the actions of this allegedly aggreived husband and father.

Where is the pleading for justice?! He's lost his entire family, for crying out loud!

Ok, I'm stepping back here.............

This case is too heartbreaking.

Such a beautiful woman and adorable children.

Why?

:(

This thought came to me at too at the beginning. I have a question though. I picture roid rage as someone snapping...would the long-term planning (if CC is the perp and was setting up death threats as far back as 9 months) be indicative of that?

Torn by grief even he did it. Anger and abject misery if he didn't. I know that people have to buck up to deal with loss, I've been there. But those are his little boys. I can't imagine why his eyes aren't swollen shut from weeping - no matter what happened.
