This thought came to me at too at the beginning. I have a question though. I picture roid rage as someone snapping...would the long-term planning (if CC is the perp and was setting up death threats as far back as 9 months) be indicative of that?

im not a professional but, from what i have seen - yes. we hear about "roid rage" on the news and like you described is like snapping...but what we really never hear is about the MAJOR depression and paranoia that comes with regular use not to mention the use of ephedra and other uppers, downers and sidewaysers, and thyroid meds and diuretics - your whole entire existance including even on a cellular level is messed up. the really sad thing is that a lot of people really just want to get healthy and the people at the gym get them on this crap...so i think a lot of things could happen that otherwise would never have happened if they werent on steroids or for that fact, any mood altering drug.

Unusual isn't it. I have been marveling at their restraint, since, they are so capable of acting like rabid dogs with bones.


Oh and BTW - the fox news locally is on at 9, so should have something from them in about a hour or less.

I wonder if this is merely a promo for their 11pm newscast and the new developements are the fingerprints being taken? I'm hoping for more though.

KPLR doesn't show a news broadcast. Sometime not long ago, they hooked up with the local Fox affiliate and they share news/run them together (on the Fox channel) or something. The ABC affiliate doesn't run local news either. It is Fox, CBS and NBC - the later two run at 10 pm. Fox at 9 and 10. All times CST.


ETA - don't get too excited, folks. From the promo they just ran, it is about the fingerprints and CC being allowed back in the family home and what he took from it. I am still hoping for more on Chester and all. We'll see I suppose.

Just had a thought. . . He allegedly worked third shift. Do we know if he traveled alot? Was he JN's BG on the road? (Forgive me, I don't remember) I'm sure it's grueling work.
It occurs to me that stimulants should be suspect as well. Coke, amphetamine and crystal meth all have an anorexic effect. Not saying, just wondering if CC had duties other than security.

I saw the tragic results of using steroids...a former colleague of mine and his wife were using steroids to bulk up. (He was always slight of build). They were going to Mexico to purchase them. He was a gentle, wonderful person but apparently the depression and paranoia took over. He drove himself to a field on the outskirts of town and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. He was found by a local farmer completely naked. However, before he committed suicide, he put all his financial affairs in order and wrote letters to his wife and two daughters. Friends of mine said that two days before a reunion of all of our colleagues, he had responded cheerfully that he and his wife would be there. We were totally shocked -- at the time we didn't know about the steroids. Who know what else he was taking. Only after his funeral, did it come out that he and his wife had been using them and they believe that it was a major fact in his suicide. I am a big baseball fan but the steroids scandal has disgusted me. Sports Illustrated did a great series a few years back on how cheap and available steroids are in Mexico -- there are cities where you can walk up and down the street and buy them (some that are veterinary grade) like candy.

When I saw the tragic death of Chris Benoit and his family, I remember all his friends being interviewed -- they said he loved his family and didn't believe he could ever harm them. That's what everyone said about my colleague.

I also wonder how use of steroids might factor into a premeditated act like murder.

TV's been off here for dinner, bathtime, storytime and now, thankfully after a knockdown drag out battle over toys between a 4 & 5 year old, BED TIME!!! I'll DVR 5 ksdk.com again, and watch 4 kmov.com and let everyone know if there is anything new. The best interview with Major Connor was covered on Fox and is on their website now @ myfoxnow.com FWIW.

I do believe we learned that he did travel with JMM alot.
And, personal bodyguard was mentioned a few pages back.

Fox2 News didn't report anything new other than saying LE wanted the fingerprints from CC to compare to evidence found inside the home. Now we all know his fingerprints will be all over the house. I asked my ex (who has worked the MCS before) if he knew what was up with that and he said that fingerprints can be compared on strangle victims, where prints or parts thereof can show up... interesting. Will let you all know what Fox Edge says... unless the hubby throws a fit that I keep watching the news! Don't worry, he'll be asleep for the 10 p.m. news ;-)

Yeah, not much on the 9 Fox News. I agree with earlier comments that the dude from the MCS does sound confident, saying they have what they need, but, aren't rushing. They have all the evidence they think they will ever be able to gather but are feeling that is enough.

At ten they are talking about Chester, the other town. Also that Defense Attorney said CC did not give interview.

Now I know people change their names and do funny things on myspace... and this is purely speculation... but maybe she had planned to leave him or kick him out and he snapped. Just basing my speculation on the ~~~ in place of a last name or nickname; and the mood productive. Maybe this had been on her radar for awhile and she finally took a step to move forward with her life.

AGAIN ... all speculation, just looking for a motive in a senseless act of violence against three beautiful people.

One thing interesting I saw earlier on the Stltoday site, under the article about his getting printed - some where it mentioned about his hiring the attorneys on TUESDAY of last week- Tuesday afternoon he hires big gun defense attorneys. Didn't realize it was that early.

No kidding. Now I am trying to find where I read that. I have read so much, and the Post moves or makes some of the older stories a bit hard to find. I don't know that I read it there.
