I said "repeat" because it has been posted several times and I figured people are getting tired of reading it by now. ;)

I prefer bets instead of tests. LOL I don't have a problem with you having a different opinion at all. It is how I make extra cash around here. (Just kidding, of course!)

in these economic times, everyone needs extra cash! the notion of "spare change" is an oxymoron

you're not running a Ponzi scheme here, are you? or an MLM that others can "get in on" ? LOL

SO, it was.....WE.....and not I........told you this would happen.
[/CENTER]
makes a difference to me......means more then one, then just one as in I..........or perhaps he was wrong, and it was I..........this is perfect example of why ones need official LE report, to know for sure what is true, and not just speculation, posted as possible fact.....I had problem excepting the I instead of WE...
I missed NG (will watch it later), but who stated it said "We" instead of "I"? Was it LE or a reporter? There is a world of difference between the two! ;)

It was the radio host from St. Louis, McGraw Milhaven, whom I have never heard of. And it is always possible that I made an error. Will have to wait till official transcript is up, or, unless someone watches the replay of Nancy Grace later this evening. I am going to watch the local news that is on at the same time, so if someone else will that would be great. The segment on the Coleman Murders is in the last 15 minutes or so of the show.

Hello Medusa,

THANKS :blowkiss:

I'm going to be interested in that transcript, but thanks so much for yours :)

I caught the "We" you wrote as being different from the "I" we had previously heard. That would be important -- so there was a flock of people that traipsed into the house and did this? or just a "we" that told them they would do something (dang where are those threat notes? :waitasec: Additionally, we need a clarification on the "we" or "I."

Also, did you hear that he said he had been trying to call his family the entire time since his leaving his house? That would be kinda odd wouldn't it, wasn't it mentioned earlier that he called at a specific time typical of when he generally called the family? Did he always call just after 5:43 when he had just left? I thought he generally called at about 7 -- woah is me, where are the notes on this :( And didn't we read earlier reports that "he said" he left at 5:30?

>>5:43 he left, called police just over an hour later for a welfare check<<

How did they pin down the time he left, I wonder? The Gold's Gym card would pin down the time of arrival there -- eh?

>>Woman reporter, Melody something, said he left at 5:43 or 5:45 and called police at 6:50<<

Wow...

Hey Wrinkles!

Yes, I did catch that on calling the entire time. Very interesting that.

Gee If he felt so strongly that he had to repeatedly call home why did he go?How can you get a good workout if you are constantly trying to call your family?

Hello SS,

Let me help you with that Obit. First posted in this thread on page 15 by myself, message #366 (posted 5/10/09 at about 7AM):

>>Went to Hursen site to read Sheri's obituary, to see if if there was one. Some of you might be interested in reading it. Hmmm, Chris' name is not mentioned in the obituary.<<

Link was then reposted 4 hours later by Analytical in message 399.

Hope the above helps. Maybe we need a list of these links and what they help us to learn :)

W
PS. Here was the more important test in the obit:
>>Sheri Coleman, age 31, along with sons, Garett 11 and Gavin 9, suddenly, May 5, in Columbia, IL. Beloved daughter and grandsons of Angie DeCicco and Donald Weiss; loving sister and nephews of Mario Weiss; dear niece and great-nephews of Elvira (Lou) Mirabelli and the late Marion (Mario) Miglio, the late Phyllis (Jim) Daidone, Pat (Georgianne), Donald and the late James (Maryann) DeCicco; loving God-daughter of Joseph (Fran) Miglio. Visitation Monday, 3 p.m. until time of Funeral Service 8 p.m., at Hursen Funeral Home, SW corner of Roosevelt/Mannheim Rds., Hillside/Westchester. Please omit flowers. Funeral info toll-free 800-562-0082 or www.hursen.com<<

Note that the guests were not suggested to contribute to the fund at the Coleman church.

IIRC it has been stated that someone in Sheri's family was in prison, and I think that it was her father. Keeping that in mind, it is possible that there was a serious rift between Sheri and her family. Could be that they blamed CC for this rift because they don't want to take responsibility for their actions.

I think that I also remember seeing somewhere that Sheri was raised a Catholic. The family could also blame CC for Sheri becoming an Evangelical.

This is just so horrific, if they didn't like CC before, I can't even imagine how much animosity there is now, and since all of us know that statistics indicate CC murdered Sheri and the boys, I don't blame them one bit.

It doesn't make sense to me why Sheri and the boys had to be taken to her family for the memorial. I may be wrong, but I don't think that's very common. Usually people come to where the burial is taking place, instead of this back and forth stuff with the bodies.

I don't know... I'm feeling really rundown today so I don't know if my brain is working at full capacity. I'm still on the fence as far as who did this so I'm just trying to look at everything from different angles

They could also be upset at CC because Sheri and the children did not live as close to home as they would have liked

I am not worried about you making any errors! You did a great job! :blowkiss: Thanks for not making me wait to hear NG!

However, the reporter could have made such an error and while it doesn't change my opinion the "painted note" was possibly left in order to stage the crime scene to an intruder scenario...it changes the evidence. I hope his sources were accurate, but until LE comes out with it now...we could be battling the We vs. I a long time. LOL

I cannot answer on behalf of MySpace or Facebook other than to say the procedure has been discussed in so many court filings here that it's been established to my satisfaction and mirrors how we'd do it here.

WS gets subpoenas, too!

Every night a backup is made of the WS database, where all the information is stored. It is a simple matter to access the backup (the last 10 days are kept by us, others may keep them longer) and look at how the site was at any time a backup was made. This is done off line - the publicly accessible site is untouched and continues to operate. Although scheduled, in factt we can create a full backup at any point and unless the sight had over about 1,500 people on you would not even notice the slowdown. And to access the backup we would not use the site, but would connect to the database and get what we needed in a "read only isolation" mode, so that nothing would be changed. These techniques are well established, in fact, for LE looking at individual's computers there are hardware devices that LE installs to make sure they get the exact contents of a disk drive without any disturbance.

Further, like most systems, when things are deleted they are generally not "deleted" in the sense of being removed, but a "flag" is set that instructs the board to just not show them. This way things can be "undeleted" - and there are performance reasons to do so as well.

Thanks, Adnoid. Things I never knew that I appreciate learning about!

Or put in an alarm system to protect them.

CC worked nights, right? It would seem to me that a crime like this is going to happen at night. Why didn't he switch shifts so he could be in the house to protect them when they are most vulnerable. I know that switching shifts can be difficult, but considering the threatening letters I don't see how they could have denied the shift change.

Thanks, Adnoid~ I knew you could shed some light on that subject!

(Now...tell me if those subpoenas involved me?! Fess up...it was the A fam, wasn't it?! LOL)

Very good point about shift change. An alarm should have been first thing done after a threat IMO.

You gotta wonder! Just like when the board was down earlier and I was freaking imagining the Defense or something getting all local ISPs to shut off ability to connect to WS. I can't imagine life with out my beloved WS!
