hubby wasn't working??? So he gets up, goes to the gym and calls police to check on his family? Okay... I wasn't really so sure what I felt about this one until right now. I would be checking this dude's hands out for any bruises/lacs.. His two boys were not exactly that small. This is just horrid!

ETA: if it was a stalker...etc.. and the Dad had nothing to do with it... than his cameras should be intact and video footage should be there...

Chris Coleman called police to check on his family because he couldn't reach his wife and that was unusual. Chris Coleman had been in the home overnight (not working as previously reported) but had gone to the gym in the morning.
Police also indicate since the Coleman family had been getting threats, they believe they were a specific target and probably not chosen at random.

hmmm... maybe it wasn't the husband... at this point I suppose anything is possible. At least it was misreporting and not a confused story from the husband.

I am kind of close to this (area). I have had a hinky feeling since I first heard about it, and now, the ole hinky meter is just going crazy.

I don't know, that seems weird. Home all night, heads to gym and I am just wondering how long one would be there? And someone sees him leave and then goes in.

The pix I have seen show security cam on main entrance - at least the one I saw - so they should have something. If the person went in the garage or something, I would think there still might be something. Plus the city's camera at the end of the street/entrance to subdivision, etc. They have said nothing about, we saw this person, etc.

Very odd.
 
According to this there is another news conference this afternoon. Also the school district is having one. If I see a link to the nc I will add.

This would leave a very, very narrow window for someone else to come in and murder the family. If the Time Of Death doesn't gel with the time Chris was at the gym then it places him at the scene.

There are two ways into the neighborhood and LE has only mentioned surveillance cameras on the main entrance. The camera on his home is on the front, but there could be other ways into the house where he couldn't be seen. However, if he is responsible and he killed them during the night...all the cam would show is him casually leaving for the gym that morning.

Just what I have been thinking. I keep looking for any link about a presser this afternoon with the Major Case Squad but so for none. I am hoping to hear more about the cameras, for one thing.

I think it's strange he called LE to check on his family, because he couldn't get a hold of his wife and that was unusual. Wouldn't he just think they were sleeping that early in the morning and didn't hear the phone? Hinky.

ITA. Mr Medusa normally leaves for work before I arise. He often calls me about an hour afterward. Sometimes I don't answer (not on purpose, but, sound sleeping and I don't hear the phone._ He has never called the PD to check on me. I would freak if he did. LOL I am going to have to ask him if this has occurred to him.
 
I want to hear more from HER family! That is where the real story will come into play. They should know if she was planning on leaving and the other details not available to the public about their personal situation.

I hope so. I notice the burials are going to be in his hometown, not that far from where they lived.
