COLUMBIA, ILL. -- Christopher E. Coleman was not working as an overnight security guard for Joyce Meyer Ministries when his family was murdered, the head of the Major Case Squad investigating the deaths said this afternoon.

"He wasn't working that night," said Major Jeff Connor of the Major Case Squad.

So...what was he doing that night.

So this leaves a small window from the time he left for the gym, worked out, called home several times, then called LE for a well check. I am aching to find out the Time of Death -- this will answer a lot of questions.

It is easy when they take pertinent information from various articles and combine them into one. ;)

Especially since it really bugs me when different articles report things that seem to contradict eachother. URG!:furious: Its nice to get all the information or misinformation from one source.:-)

LOL We already have photos of the camera facing the mailbox. ;) How much detail do you need?!

Artie Gumshoe tried to post one but it wouldn't display so he posted a stock photo instead

You don't think his post is the actual mailbox, do you?

Go back and look at the large fir tree behind it .. that subdivision is TREELESS

Artie even said it was a stock photo

(why do I get the feeling that you're having fun with this 'tit-for-tat')

IMO The dad flew in from FLA to say goodbye to his daughter and grandchildren, he might not have known about second funeral at the time he arrived.Being divorced he well might not be in good standing with the mothers family. Also most Moms know more about problems in a marriage so he might not know all the mom might know.Did that make sense?

Wow, that doesn't look too good for CC. If it was someone else that would mean they would've had to watch the house.

Time of death is really going to be a huge factor in this!

I wish that LE would make an arrest already!:)

right... because only black people commit crimes... :waitasec:

I didn't mean it like that, the facts show that most people stereotype that the blacks are the ones that do the most crime, in stl, it is probably more whites than blacks, but I had to make a point. If I was black, I would have said something like I was driving my car into Affton, which is actually where I grew up and after living there for 25 years, never saw a black person living there. Same point. STL is completely different than Columbia. Here in Columbia, the story goes that Ozzie Smith was going to find a house here, back when he still played for the Cardinals and the local real estate people raised the costs of the houses so much so he left. In Columbia, it is not unusal to find a car stopped by the cops for DWB, Driving While Black. It is true and one thing that really frightens me, is that as racist as this town is, they will neglect all of the evidence pointing towards CC or his brother and find a black person to pin this all onto. As racist as this town is, they would believe that a black man killed the colemans but not CC himself.

Sure did - thank you! I'm not sure we really know the dynamics of Sheri's family - or CC's for that matter. Time will tell.....IMO

6-8 months ago, they received threats, nothing recent?
The mailman (IMO) should not and would not have been delivering mail to a box that potentially could have a bomb in it. CC would have had to go to the Post Office and get his mail.
I don't believe the threat story, or CC used the threats as a play-off.
IMO

Bang on -- if I were receiving threatening mail, I would ask the post office to hold my mail - most definitely. I can't tell you what others would do, but these letters sounded very serious. I'm curious to know if LE was notified of these letters, or even the post office.

Per Nancy Grace show the epitat said "I told you this was going to happen" (not we). Just throwing it out there -- was this CC talking to his family? does anyone know if this was written or spraypainted? Just curious if we can trace the writing back to CC.

Best,

Where did I read it? Was it Artie that wrote about Coleman coming home and not even closing his car door running into the house to check on his family?

If a man had committed this crime, as alleged here by the majority of posters, would he also STAGE a scene such as this?

I sincerely doubt it .... the passenger door is left open as if he is in quite a hurry to get inside and check on the welfare of his loved ones.

We know that Christopher was a former Marine MP.

We know that Chris liked to work out A LOT

While I'm only speculating, but being in the marines is no easy feat (my bro was an MP as well, and saw some nasty stuff).

Was he into steroids?? Did he have some type of roid rage??

The neighborhood is another thing:

Sheri was a one-time Air Force MP, beloved in her tucked-away neighborhood where visitors must pass a city-monitored camera, and where some of the neighbors are cops.

Sooooo....if visitors must pass a city-monitored camera, what does that camera show.

Okay, I'm officially sucked into this case, and will be following it closely. I hope they arrest the perp quickly!!

Best,

Okey Dokey my buddies...

Let's look at some "peecies" (As in "I hate these meecies to peecies" remember that cartoon character?)

Our good Medusa (never mind her hair, she is a sweetheart) reported some things...#964, 967, 969, 976 -- she was "doing up" a quickie report on what she saw from Nancy Grace.

Seems her transcript (we await the official) says:
>>5:43 or 5:45 and called police at 6:50<<

Oh, and MikeysMomMom -- too dang funny, yeah, when you are worried sick and calling home every few minutes after just leaving your family (whose home had no alarms despite you being the "security guy" and who "allegedly" had threats against its father for some reason -- let's see work, nothing specific -- but "work related"), how DO you get a good workout? (and why would you want one if you were worried about your family?)

AND TallCoolOne :blowkiss: too funny bringing up golffishing hahahahahah! You had me rolling on that! :)

So...let's cruise this.

Guy's family is okay -- he is gonna breeze off to the gym for a bit of pump. Gotta keep those muscles tidy ("I'm security, we have to fight beasties"). And...he gets out of the house -- 5:43am and, what?, immediately starts calling back home for something ("hello momma, just thought I would wake you up, even though I just got out of bed with you, want to check if all is well -- ain't nobody snuck into the house since I left a minute ago is there momma?") Then again, "Hiya momma -- you musta been away from the phone in the shower? You there? (sound of huffing on the stair thingie at the gym) -- Dang it momma you got me so worried, I have been away for 20 minutes, it is 6:03 and you have to get the kids up (like she doesn't know) -- where are you?"

But wait...our buddie AGumshoe wrote:
>>At 6:00, the neighbor, who lives across the street, came out and did some jogging and let the dogs out, he said he saw nothing unusual.<<

Dogs ain't barking weird? Neighbor sees nothing weird? Now just pardon me AGumshoe, I gotta do this ya know, "Is AGumshoe really a neighbor?" (yeah, I'm betting he is!)

So we have daddy gone for the pump, and momma not answering the phone and daddy still working on the pump (no phone call to neighbor yet? what the heck -- we're scared about momma and worrying about waking up the neighbor that jogs everyday? or the others that we have checking on the house? and we can't turn around and head home?) After all -- there have been threats (yawn!)

Then...phone call to the police at 6:50. And what time did CC get to the house and -- dang it -- would someone PLEASE tell me who found the bodies first? (oops sorry AGumshoe, you wrote: "but, the police DID NOT find the bodies!!!!!!!") Well but...5:43AM to what time did he get home? That was a quick dang murder with neighbors up and jogging and such...how did that happen the dogs didn't bark with a stranger in the neighborhood? AND and AND the murderer had time for painting! Never mind there were people out and about in that neighborhood at 6AM.

>>I was at the house at 8:30am, CC called from the gym and when there was no answer, he went home after calling the cops. He was at the house first!!!! The nighbor across the street, saw CC go into the house, and come out crying and wailing.<<

ARTIE HELP US -- what time did that neighbor see CC enter the house then emerge wailing? Oh, and can you clarify -- did CC roll around on the grass?

Just thinking... 5:43 to 7AM this all happened? Can anyone help us with 5:43AM to what time the bodies were found -- and nobody saw anything and the dogs didn't go off?

Yeesh...how does this all work.
