I think we are all looking too far into this. CC is still thinking that he is innocent or at least wants us all to think that. So, if he turns himself in, even at a hospital, it shows that he is guilty. I bet he is just going to take care of his mother and make it seem like he is perfectly fine and normal.

Even though he killed his family, took his stuff from the house, left it there overlooking the area like a plagued sore, he even left the giant cards, the teddybears and the flowers we have all placed there. I'm sorry, call me biased, but if my family died, I would place those things on their graves and I think that is what some of the neighbors are thinking but they don't want to do it out of fear that he may come back and find out or if they think the LE would look at them for being a suspect. It is just a scary thing, seeing that house there with all of that stuff there. You don't have to be a psychic to feel something strange near that house.

I'm glad it appears not to be the case this morning. But it's a valid thought and fear of mine. The only other thing besides a perp lawyering up that will but the brakes on, is a perp who commits himself to a mental facility and makes himself untouchable to LE.

I agree with you here.

The sole exception would be if, while driving back to Chester with relatives, he intimated suicidal ideations. At that point, they family would insist upon him seeking medical attention immediately; not returning to St. Louis for better treatment, or somewhere closer to appease his attorney.

This whole hospital thing is so George Anthony-ish!

"At Chester's Evergreen Cemetery, the three murder victims were buried side-by-side -- Sheri, Garett and Gavin -- their graves adorned with a dozen overflowing flower arrangements.

Flowers decorated with white ribbons that said: "loving grandson," were on each of the boy's graves. On the mother's grave, a colorful arrangement had a pink ribbon on it that said: "Beloved daughter."

There are no headstones. Rather, small signs with their names and photos attached to them mark their graves."

Since his admission to a psyche unit is clearly related to this case does anyone know if that affects LE's ability to look at the records of his stay?

Coleman sees family buried, heads south

Chris Coleman watched his wife and sons being buried Wednesday morning and then headed south on Interstate 55 with a group of police detectives following him.

Coleman was on I-55 passing through Cape Girardeau, Mo., at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with police following him at a distance and at normal highway speeds.

Early Wednesday morning three unmarked police cars and a sport utility vehicle full of detectives were staked out around the house in Chester where Chris Coleman has been staying since his wife and two sons were strangled.

<<<<<<<<<<<full article at link>>>>>>>>>>

As far a Chrissy jumping from the Chester Bridge - since he is being followed 24 hours a day he would have a hard time doing that.

We have had many jumpers off the bridge and not many of them have died. They have river rescue crew at Chester PD with a boat and all. The river is up now but they would get to him before he drowned.

The bridge is pretty busy at all hours of the day - it a small narrow two lane bridge with a speed limit of 45 mph.

I truly think Chrissy went for a joy ride just to see how far MCS would follow him. He has to be feeling the pressure. Chrissy can go to Cape G and catch the river bridge there to come back to IL and he can come back up to Chester via Rt. 3 on the IL side - It a nice scenic drive when you fell like blowing off steam. (one big circle without having to back track)

Just a little FYI.........one of my daughters is a forensic chemist. She told me that contrary to what people believe, during an investigation, there really are NOT that many times that a readable fingerprint is found.

In line with that, I'm wondering that IF LE feels the back door or whatever, doesn't look like it was forced, and IF Chris is the alleged perp and THOUGHT he'd made it look like it was broken into, I'm wondering IF it were him, would he have worn gloves when he strangled his wife and children?

Along that line,.............COULD there be useable fingerprints on the bodies?

But alas, I will say that my daughter also attended a forensic gathering a few months back and attended a seminar given by Wecht, Lee, and Dr. Baden. I believe it was Dr. Lee (not sure?), who said that during his career, there's only been ONE instance in HIS case participation, where they were able to obtain a 'good' fingerprint from the victim's body.

So................it's a long-shot. We can pray though.

JMHO
fran

PS.......I just want to clarify a little........when my daughter said that about useable fingerprints, she was talking about how people ALWAYS believe if there's a print, it will point to a definit perp. She said quite often, the print is 'unreadable.' ie smudged or whatever.........hope that's clearer, sometimes I confuse myself :), fran

My daughter also works maybe our hobby directed them...lol but she was telling me about a new way to get prints from a body called touch DNA not sure exactly how to explain it but hopefully it might help.

I have been reading this thread since last night, didn't get to all of the posts, but read many. Do we know anything about Chris and Sheri's married life, any problems prior to this...? Sorry, if this has been discussed and I missed it, trying to get some perspective here. TIA.

Don't know if this counts, but as far as I know there's been the report that neighbors heard a scream in the early morning the day Sheri and the kids were murdered.

There are also rumors that the affair with the x-stripper is not the only affair CC has had or is having now.

Isn't that the truth? did they say a time? Maybe I'll have to tell the hubby I have to run errands and drive over there, lol.

you will have to cut and past it because the "r" in anchor is not underlined. I had to C&P to get it to work. :)

Been lurking and reading trying to stay caught up with you speed posters LOL

Howdy,

Which of our gang here was asking about Florida newspapers? I was fishing... Just found this -- haven't read it yet.

Title of article: "Chris Coleman alleged girlfriend lives in Largo, Florida"

W

Okay so...

Apparently the woman graveside was his mom and she did head south (if the news report is correct.) They keep adding more to that same article -- sheesh.

>>Chris Coleman then headed out of Chester with his parents and with police shadowing him. They arrived at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The woman believed to be Connie Coleman had a bandage on her left leg.<<

Does anyone know where that film of the loading of the trailer is, from the other day? I recall seeing this woman (I believe) and I don't recall seeing anything with her leg -- but then I wasn't looking.

Wondering if she was freshly injured.

W

I don't know for sure, but I seem to recall that they weren't specific about who was loading up the stuff. I thought that it was Sheri's family but that doesn't make sense since the only family member of her family that I've heard about being in Chester is Sheri's father.
