Hmmm....

SS where did you hear/see this? On NG from whom?
>>The writing on the wall is not exactly what is going around in the press. Connor won't say what the message says tho (he also seemed to indicate there could be more than one). GRRRR~<<

So...when the family went in to get Chris' clothes, they might have had to face this writing. Do you suppose the handwriting analysts have been called in?

So...per our jnTexas report in hearing NG:

>>Sheriff is saying the statement reported to be on the wall is not accurate.
nancy asked him if the statement on the wall "I told you this would happen" is close to what was written.
Sheriff said: That is not exactly what was written on the wall.
Nancy: was it close major
Sheriff: yes. there were threats towards the family. <<

So the perp tried to make it look like the threatener was still threatening?

Maybe there was something like, "I missed you this time bubba, but I'll get you next time?" :bang:

Your welcome! Years of researching these cases makes us here uniquely in tune with what the bad guy looks like, IMO. Although there have been mistakes made. One recent case comes to mind where many were immediately suspecting the parents but it was not the case. But, the suspicion does not last with us usually if evidence to the contrary is presented. No such evidence has been presented here that does not look like staging to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.
I don't know what is worse, a nut job stalking and destroying a family or a trusted husband and father destroying his own loved ones. Based on what I have seen, I think it's clear that the latter is the case here.
It's a tragedy that is so avoidable. That's what really kills me. It seems these guys feel they will look "bad" if they divorce their spouses, leave their kids and go off with a mistress, or if their secret comes out (thinking of Hacking). Don't they realize that they will get caught? Don't they realize that being branded a murderer is so much worse? To me one of the worst things imaginable is to be struck down by one's own husband when you think you can trust him and that he loves you like you love him. How the heck can anyone protect against such a thing? And then to have that monster kill your babies? I'm sick to my stomach.
I so agree, for a person in a position of trust to do this, IMO, it's the ultimate betrayal.

Nancy Grace: "Moms family says Chris did not call until 2 days after the bodies were found"

That's pretty interesting, IMO.

Maybe not. There could be some family strain pre-existent. Sheri was raised in Florida, her brother and mother remain in Chicago and I believe she was born there and "the family" moved to Florida when she was a child. So it seems Sheri stayed in Florida (after the divorce?) and was raised by her father.

Someone has posted here whose child was in school with Sheri. Perhaps she could say who the parent was Sheri was raised by in Florida.

Family rifts can run deep and wide.

Hey Wrinkles...
I think that I know what Analytical is talking about. It was an article that was written towards the beginning-ish of the case. I can go hunt for it if you want.:)

No, as I've stated several times .. IT IS IN THIS THREAD!

I read about it in this thread.

It doesn't excuse that he could have asked someone from his family or even his attorney to notify her family. It was the RIGHT thing to do instead of waiting two days...and risking them seeing it on the news.

About Major Conner (Connor sp?),

He is the gent who has been working along with his task force -- so hard in this -- the one who did the press conference today.

He is attractive -- what attracts me to him is his confidence that he has busted the murderer of a woman and her children and he is not in doubt about what he knows.

I looked at his face and his eyes over and over when he said this (hoping I get the quote right, but not exactly sure):

>>Our investigation, to me, reveals who's responsible for these deaths. I'll leave it at that.<<

His face and eyes were meant to be clear to ALL onlookers, including the perp and his attornies.

Thankfully, I get along with my husbands family very well. However, even if we had the most horrible relationship imaginable..but my children and husband (their grandchildren and son) were found murdered, I would call them that very day...I find it really odd that two days later he "got around to" calling his inlaws. No matter how much you may hate them..they're still your childrens grandparents, and they're still your wifes parents.

Perhaps it was someone speculating...because I don't recall reading anything about the guts of a camera being found anywhere. (Or I may have missed it because I left for awhile. LOL)

I feel the same way to be sleeping with the enemy and not have a clue.I just hope they did not suffer and I am praying she did not know he was going to kill her babies. He was staging this for months IMO.

Nancy: Major can you tell me is the husband cooperating did he voluntarily give statements fingerprints?
Major: I really don't want to get into any of the statements or what he did or did not do.

Ummmm..... I think you're way ahead on the "bales" .. maybe reviewing the press conference will give a clearer understanding.

I did not get any idea of "hay bales" at all but "baled packages"

I'll go listen again ... a truck pulled up and unloaded them ..

Going on the property to see if they are there, IMO, is not a wise move ..especially to do so and "report back" here.

Just IMO

Yes, but I've dealt with death before and in my experience, after freaking out, the first response is to gather and notify all the family and friends of the decedent. Regardless of any rift. Further, if Sheri had a rift, that doesn't mean Chris did. It makes no sense at all that he would fail to notify that family for two whole days. Your mind just goes to all those who were closely connected to the person who died. It just makes no sense to me rift or no. What really stands out too is that some guilty people tend to behave just like that, delaying notification or not wanting to be with the family of the decedent. I've never ever heard of an innocent person behaving like that. It just doesn't compute.

Where did he indicate there was more than one message on the wall? I never heard that and I saw the presser several times.

Channel change time ... just cannot tolerate NG.
