Where did he indicate there was more than one message on the wall? I never heard that and I saw the presser several times.

Channel change time ... just cannot tolerate NG.

I think he stated that on nancy maybe? not sure?

Add: I went back on the Nancy show:

Major said " There were some messages on the walls inside"

So that tells me more than one message more than one wall.

I might have a tendency to agree -- because I don't recall reading that in the threads on this case. Perhaps the person who mentioned that could do their due diligence to find it ;)

At anyrate, about the fan club. I am a fan club member of my husband (enough fan clubs for me) who told me a few days ago, "I don't think I would hire a defense attorney if you were murdered. If people came up to me and said, 'We know she was driving you crazy and we think you murdered her' he would say, 'You are 50% right!'"

Personally, an attractive man or woman is one who is strong in their convictions, particularly when they are on the side of "good." Being attracted doesn't mean starting a fan club for me -- but I sure appreciate that confidence and strength of character.

Yes, but I've dealt with death before and in my experience, after freaking out, the first response is to gather and notify all the family and friends of the decedent. Regardless of any rift. Further, if Sheri had a rift, that doesn't mean Chris did. It makes no sense at all that he would fail to notify that family for two whole days. Your mind just goes to all those who were closely connected to the person who died. It just makes no sense to me rift or no. What really stands out too is that some guilty people tend to behave just like that, delaying notification or not wanting to be with the family of the decedent. I've never ever heard of an innocent person behaving like that. It just doesn't compute.

We had a lot of deaths in my husbands family, 7 brothers and sisters so in his family a feud is going on at any given time someone isnt talking to another but anytime some ones dies, they all gather and cry together.Thats usually when you reflect and realize the people you arent talking to might be the next to go.For him to not call her mom and dad for 2 days and then he tried to cheat her family out of saying good bye screams to his guilt it is just not normal.Seems like he wanted to hide from them.Just making them have to go to court at a time they are in shock and grieving is a scummy thing to do IMO it shows alot.

Sorry...it was on Nancy Grace. It will be in the transcripts, but in the meantime I will watch it again on my dvr and see what he did say for certain. :) I am curious if I heard it correctly myself.

Lemme finish my martini first. ;)

Maybe not. There could be some family strain pre-existent. Sheri was raised in Florida, her brother and mother remain in Chicago and I believe she was born there and "the family" moved to Florida when she was a child. So it seems Sheri stayed in Florida (after the divorce?) and was raised by her father.

Someone has posted here whose child was in school with Sheri. Perhaps she could say who the parent was Sheri was raised by in Florida.

Family rifts can run deep and wide.

Hi - My son went to school with Sheri. IIRC, She was raised by her dad, Donald Weiss. I do not know if he re-married and there was a stepmom.

Wonder if he contacted the Dad and just not the Mother?

As a note...

I am almost sick to say this because I really loathe severe illness that needs treatment and is only worsened by stress such as this, but it was something I noticed and I so hope I am wrong. I hope this wasn't coaching by a criminal defense attorney...

I remember Jackie Peterson showing up in wheelchair and oxygen.

Was today, in Chester, the type of weather that you would be wearing short pants and short sleeves?

LOL Well...it is an inside joke here actually. I started a fan club for Yuri Melich, (lead detective in the Anthony case) as a joke and it took off like wildfire. (I even made the news. Hahahaha~ ) His determination, confidence, and the way he handled himself with the biggest liar on the face of the earth certainly made my top ten Hero list. Not to mention...he is hot. LOL

Tell hubby an answer like that could get him life if they can't figure out quickly which 50% he is admitting to! :behindbar

About Major Conner (Connor sp?),

He is the gent who has been working along with his task force -- so hard in this -- the one who did the press conference today.

He is attractive -- what attracts me to him is his confidence that he has busted the murderer of a woman and her children and he is not in doubt about what he knows.

I looked at his face and his eyes over and over when he said this (hoping I get the quote right, but not exactly sure):

>>Our investigation, to me, reveals who's responsible for these deaths. I'll leave it at that.<<

His face and eyes were meant to be clear to ALL onlookers, including the perp and his attornies.

W

Thats what I meant but you said it so much better then I.

Wonder if he contacted the Dad and just not the Mother?

I would think his mother or father would have made sure that both were called, even offered to do it for him. His dad is a preacher, you would think that his pastoral training would make sure that these communications were taken care of.

We have no young children to raise and, although my husband wants to be around to tend to our children and grandchildren, he has told me that if anything were to happen to me he just wouldn't care what happened to him. I believe he would probably stop taking his heart medication and get a magnet to disarm his defibrillator, seriously.

OMG.... Bale type things!

Thinking of Bale wire here. If he used bale wire to strangle them with he may have nearly cut their heads off with it. It's very thin and strong.

I also saw a stack of straw by the back door of the house in videos. About 4 bales stacked up.

Some people still use bale wire in the area but it could have been bale rope also around the bales of straw.

We have straw for the garden/animals and it comes with a plastic flat cord tying it together. Just asked DH and he said it has been that way for some years now. Sometimes we pick it up at a local garden center, but mostly we go out in the country, actually in the outskirts of Columbia to a farmer he knows.

Greetings all,

I think we can speculate forever on family rifts being a reason why Chris did not contact Sheri's mother -- but I think that we are all fairly clear why he really did not.

There were two bales of hay sitting right behind the Coleman house. I recall seeing them in the photo of the window, door, and two detectives. Let me find it~

My first thought of the bales when I saw them were how out of place they appeared to be in that setting. It is the only reason I remembered them now.

Seriously, I found the video of the bales..the officers are next to them by the back door and window. I am not sure how to link. It is video #18 fox2now.com
