Have they made an arrest yet? I just turned on Nancy Grace and it says they're awaiting an arrest at any moment (I think this is a repeat from the 8pm episode, which is why I'm asking).

let me correct this for ya... they're awaiting an arrest at any moment within the next 8 weeks.

Remember NG hypes things and plays word play to increase her ratings.

No. not yet to my knowledge. Nancy's crew often runs those headline teasers and they are not exactly accurate ;). They are for sensationalism. They are correct it could be at any moment since the SA's office has the case and an arrest is imminent...but Major Connor has indicated it could be up to several weeks before they make the arrest.

Haha yeah, very good point. I love watching NG..but things are incredibly overplayed. You're right.

Or they misquoted it from an article. Just saying...

Everything we have seen has stated six months...not nine.

Can you prove the person blogged about it "from newspaper accounts"?

Perhaps the person blogged about it by knowing Coleman or knowing of the threats.

I believe it came from personal knowledge

Since I don't have a "hinky" meter perhaps I look at things with a different perspective.

I've asked this before, but I'll ask it again..what exactly is your perspective? Who do you think murdered Sheri, Garett, and Gavin based on the evidence and everything you know about this case?

Well..that explains a lot~ LOL Being hinkymeterless could be a problem on a board that deals with opinions, ideas, speculations, and assumptions mixed in with factual information. :)

I could order you one if you so desire. ;) I hear they run about $29.95 for the version which allows minimum speculation. LOL :blowkiss:

I appreciate your perspective. However, EVERYONE has a hinky meter! Maybe it isn't in full operation when looking at murder cases, but you can't expect us to believe that it isn't on alert when you meet people!

I really respect your ability to stay your course in the face of so very much opposition. If I were ever on trial, I would want you on the jury!

Certainly not Coleman .. that's all I can say (and please don't read into that)

No and you can't prove it didn't come from newpaper accounts...can you?

Can someone answer the question of how long the threats were known? When did the detective in the neighborhood become aware of them? When did the school become aware of them? When did Sheri mention they began when she discussed them with the neighbors? This would be something she would surely mention!

Is there a police blotter for the area? Maybe it was listed in their call logs somewhere online?

ITA TM! I don't feel we're quick to judge so much as we've seen so many of these cases and know how to smell a rat when there is one.

Also - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE "wasband!"

Even my DBF has watched enough Forensics Files, etc with me that even he can pick off the 'guilty' spouse reported in the evening news. :)

He groans when he hears about "the nosebleed" in the car/bed/horse barn...not the nosebleed excuse again -- duh!

I don't get these murdering spouses....they think they are so smart yet they use the same devious plans that have landed others in jail...I just thought of another poor woman who had been "stalked" - Diane King...she was a reporter whose spouse set his plan in motion with "the stalker did it".

"Wasband" - everybody should *not* have to have one. LOL

Could you even stand up if your beloved wife and beautiful little boys were just strangled to death? Would your mind even go to that place, thinking about your own legal rights and protections? Or, would you be in that horrific place filled with a dread sense of panic, emergency, despair, rage, frantic need to have the bad guy caught and black feeling of fear that you will never see you babies or your wife again, wondering how the hell you will be able to breath without them? Remember, this was hours, not weeks after the murders. quoted from gitana

Gitana, I have felt those feelings of despair and not being able to breath and no I could not think of anything else. Some cannot allow themselves to go to those feelings..however if they had lost someone close enough they would never use diversion techniques again. Thanks so much for your post. You read my mind.

easy .. someone who had it out for Coleman as has been reported ... "threats in relation to his security position with JMM"

it could be as simple as someone that was miffed they were not allowed access to JM for a meeting ... or something as bizarre as someone offended they were refused entrance into a JMM dome meeting because of security concerns

I have NO IDEA ... but I believe the threats are real and credible and Artie has given some "legs" to that for those of you who question if they even exist by stating the detective in the subdivision that was asked to "watch" the house saw them

I'm sure they are also on file .. if I were receiving any kinds of threats .. I'd have them in the hands of LE too ..
This doesn't sound to me like specific knowledge of who LE is looking at for the murders unless I am reading it wrong.

Why don't you write the blogger and ask? Why did he pull the post after queried about how he knew there were threats? Curious, eh? I'd say. If it's an innocent blog post just asking for prayer, why did it need to be obliterated?

The blogger knew .. .guess he didn't want to "get involved" or answer any questions as to how he'd know about the threats.

Anyone think it's weird that we haven't seen Chris Coleman come forward and do any public pleas for information (ex- "please, if you know who killed my family, come forward")? We haven't seen him to anything, really.

I just think if my children and spouse were murdered, my entire focus would be finding who did this.

The first written mention on CNN - short, sweet, and totally devoid of any mention of JMM - and published after CC's resignation. I know that certain posters think that JM is irrelevant to this case, and others that I sound like I am a rabid JM anti-christian - but I assure you, that is not where I am coming from. I am a believer who has followed JMM for the past 9 years, and grateful for the teaching I learned in those early years.

I also watched the "housewife from Fenton" grow into mega star, complete with all of the trappings. I watched the family business grow to the point where the money machine has to be fed on a huge scale, both to support the road shows, the outreach ministry, the family compound, their political activities and a lavish lifestyle.

I'm not a "hater", but more saddened by the way this ministry has, IMHO, been seduced by mammon (sorry but it's the religious name for something that I believe is totally relevant to this case.)

Was CC was able to deceive JM and the "inter-sanctum" of an organization that demands moral accountability from it's employees? His father is pastor of a church that subscribes to the same doctrine. Who missed the signs? From the evidence presented so far, CC is not that smooth of an operator, or a good liar. Did no one see, or more importantly, discern that something was wrong? And don't think for a second that this brand of faith respects the privacy of it's ministry members. That's not how it works.

If anything, I would say to JMM - please re-read II Corinthians, 12:7, Matthew 6:19-21 and Matthew 19:16-30

HEY PERTZBORN ...

Do you know if MCS/LE searched the grounds of the old rest stop and the grounds near the old Koch Hospital at Koch Road? (as you know both are on the MO side next to JB Bridge).

If you have a reply, just twitter it!

Thanks!

PS... Pertz I am a MOgal - grew up in STLC and moved to the land of Popeye many many years ago because I couldn't keep my hands off Popeye now Popeye is more like Wimpy as I can't keep him from eating all those Wimpy burgers! - LOL!

I think Hinkey Meter is a sleuthing term for discernment. And speaking of, where was the discernment of the folks CC was spiritually accountable to? I'm not even talking about murder here - I'm going back a ways.
