Would like to ask, if after a conviction,would the posessions of SC and her sons not be awarded by the courts to her family? I would not think that CC would have any rights to their belongings JMO.

Let's hope so! But where would they have taken their belongings so quickly? MY GOSH, when my family has lost our beloved we couldn't bare to TOUCH their things for WEEKS! Are we the weird ones?

I'm am so appalled I'm going toward being speechless!!! :furious:

It's really beyond my understanding how someone could behave this way when he supposedly loved his wife and two children. To me it's showing he couldn't wait to get them completely out of his life. MOO

Nancy's back to talking with Sheri's cousin about the lack of security around Sheri and the boys when CC claims he was being threatened, and especially when his job was in security.

Ray Giudice is saying this wasn't a random burglary gone bad. Not believing the killer entered through that small unlocked window in the back of the house.

Now she's finished talking about Sheri.

Abuse if you ask me I would think he is an abuser.He is abusing the family he should be grieving with.He married her but Her mom gave birth to her how much lower can you go.That poor family I can not image how much pain they are in and to be treated this way.DESPICABLE

Tom Shamshak Former police officer is saying that CC is the only one who told LE and the neighbors about the threats to the family...Now the family spokeman is saying that his family should have been the most important thing for him to protect since security was his line of work...And this is something that Sheri's family keeps coming back to....Wants to know where CC was that morning......Penny Douglas Furr says that this screams domestic violence to her...

Maybe she didn't have a will and if that's the case would the courts not keep someone from discarding their effects if the family came in and filed some type of temporary motion,at least until an arrest is made?

The cousin on NG showed more of God's nature when he said they were waiting for justice patiently!!!

She would have to have a will that specifies her possessions. We determined in another thread that in Illinois they operate very similarly as a community property state, which means her possessions go to CC.

Well I tried my best to listen and type at the same time....But I can tell you one think I was able to listen and get madder then a hornet....I don't know what happened when this precious family when they drew there last breaths...But they are in a much better place then this will ever be.....And they will not have to worry about seeing CC where they are now cause he will surely burn in HELL for what he has done....

What happens to possessions when someone is convicted and there is no one left in the immediate family? Does the state take control of it?

I think the point is more about human decency and not what a probate court would uphold. From seeing Sheri's cousin and her brother's statement tonight, it doesn't seem that she was alienated from them or didn't want them to have anything of her personal possessions, yet CC is acting as if that was the case. MOO

Did not mean to offend anyone.Just this is not only breaking my heart but making my blood boil.................So many people were saying first day how wonderful this family is............I have seen just evil even if CC wont talk to the family you would think his mom would reach out to Sheri s mom.They did both share the title of grandmother with Garett and Gavin.:furious:
