(KMOV)-- Sources say there is new evidence in the killings of Sheri Coleman and her two young sons Garett and Gavin.

A paint covered glove has been recovered as evidence in the triple murder.

Sources say the glove appears to have red spray paint stains on it.

A similar color paint was used to write a message on a wall in the Coleman’s home in Columbia, Ill.

The victims' husband and father told police he was at the gym when his family was murdered.

Sources say the glove was found along Interstate 255 on the way from the Coleman’s home to that gym.
