I saw a mug shot somewhere! Now where was it?

That's no lie. The last time the Chester PD was offered a part in a nationally televised case they wern't much help. The TV show America's Most Wanted was profiling a guy who was staying at the Royale Motor Lodge about 15 years ago and got several tips from Chester residents. The F.B.I. made a courtesy call to the Chester PD to let them know that a wanted fugitive was staying at the Royale, but instructed them not to do anything that would tip him off.

Rick Huey and Danny Walls (2 of Chester's finest) decided to play P.I. and go ask this gentleman if he was featured on America's Most Wanted or not, and then LEAVE THE MOTEL UNGUARDED.

Naturally he remained a fugituve for several days longer than he would have without Chester LE's 'help'. I'm sure the big boys know better than to involve them in anything that matters.

Just one example of Chesters finest. Sometimes more like a mob of Barny Fife's except that they keep the bullets in theor guns ... not safely in their front pockets.

This is a real incident. If I remeber the name of the fugitive later I will post it. Maybe Chestergal could find it.

I hope my last post made some sense! LOL! If any of you are familiar with the "Love and Logic" approach, that's what I'm talking about. It is very Bible-based and for my boys, it worked great! I've got a couple of kids who make good choices most of the time. LOL

It made sense to me! I have called the cops on my older boys; and they do get held accountable for the choices they make. Unfortunately that doesn't happen these days as much as it used to. I'm not 100% up to speed on love & logic; but believe it does make sense from what I have read up on it. Parents need to teach accountability to their kids, but instead we get "Not my kid" way too much.

...
For example, if my son CHOOSES to smoke pot and I find it in the house, do I call the police and make him accountable for his actions? YES!

Really?? You find your son smoking pot, and your reaction is to give him a criminal record, instantly disqualifying him for most well paying jobs that require a background check (with PCI requirements, this will even disqualify him from a lot of not so well paying jobs)

I haven't seen the actual mug shot yet, do you have a link pretty please?

ETA: N/M just showed it on NG You're right.
Yes NG's where I saw it-watching it now but I first noticed it last night

Obviously you don't live in Oregon! It's just a ticket here! (aka "minor in possession") and a fine...more like a traffic ticket.

Holy Cow! Your state is STRICT!

It looked to me like he might have had a scratch to the left of his nose. Kinda hard to tell.

It made perfect sense to me. If kids aren't given the opportunity to make choices early and if they aren't allowed to experience consequences for those choices...how are they ever going to learn the skills needed when making major decisions in life?

Unconditional love means when your child makes a mistake...large or small...you take them by the hand to guide them, you help them by encouraging them to take responsibility, and you stand by them as they face their own consequences. You don't make excuses for them.

The person detailed why he originally stated he'd been at the gym. Can't find the post.

But that would support the rumor of an argument at 3:00 a.m.

I'm pretty sure that I heard that LE had a camera pointed at his house, in response to the "threats". I am sure they have looked at those tapes and know exactly when CC left his house that morning. If he is changing his story now then he is lying, which only makes him look more guilty then he already is.

The standard of 'keeping your own house' is higher for a leader of a church. How can they lead a church if their own 'house' is in turmoil? Sins of the children do follow church leaders in that way.

NG mentioned a video, last night I think. I wondered of the LE who across the street from CC maybe had one set up. I hope so.

Oh, you will not. Relax.

ok Adnoid... I am finally seeing your post.
If I step out of line you just do what you have to do, ok?

Maybe it's time that mods start talking to the abuse button pushers cause really nothing has gotten nasty on here tonight. I mean we are adults here not children that should have any need to run to the mods unless there is name calling, cussing, or threats going on.

I have not once hit the abuse button for anyone else or on anyone else. If I ever hit it it will because I feel someone is verbally attacking "me" and only "me".

Also I am not EVER going PM anyone to ask them to alter or change their post, so please other posters don't do it to me. Thanks, but No Thanks... I don't need anyone watching out for me.

G'Nite to those that are still on here!

I've got it frozen and I think it's maybe just a shadow. I do hope LE took notice of any wounds on him on the 5th. I'm sure they did, just saying it. He looks totally different than the day he was fingerprinted a.k.a. glove discovery day.

You are correct. But sadly many organizations have double standards. Perhaps that is why he thought he could get by with it.

I am not going to knock Chester PD as many of the people who are in there now where not in there when you lived here.

BTW... Do you live in Texas?

(my last post - I swear - I'll wait to read they reply)

You do make an excellent point, Chico. The standard is higher for the people who are supposed to be leading others and pointing them in the right direction.

This Pastor has one son in jail for Murder, another son who chokes deer to death, and yet another son who leaves his wife with nothing then marries two weeks later. I would say something could be amiss in his house.

Well there's the big picture! I haven't put them all together in one paragraph like that. When you do it's kind of shocking, and dysfunctional I would say.

He sure does, but if he didn't look like that in so many of his earlier photos...I would think it was really odd. (Maybe he groomed himself for his close up! He appears to prefer that Marine cut.)

I am sure the MCS looked long and hard at him right after the murders to see if he had marks on his arms or face. Since he was taken to the hospital, I am hoping they put on record any marks or cuts, too. ;)
