While I don't hate the Colemans, I do think that they need to wake up and smell the coffee! I just have a really hard time with Christians who don't practice what they preach. The Bible does NOT say it is okay to cover up for your children when they sin. It just doesn't! It says parents are to make their children accountable for what they do! SSSOooooo, either the Colemans truly believe their son is completely innocent or they are poor pastors. IMO

My bet is that they have not smelled the coffe ... yet.

Yeah, he'll be fine thanks. He is medicated and in bed now. He smashed a couple fingers on his left hand - 20 stitches, but, amazingly no broken bones!

The LE in Chester or Randolph County know very little if any more than the media. MCS has made sure of that...

That's no lie. The last time the Chester PD was offered a part in a nationally televised case they wern't much help. The TV show America's Most Wanted was profiling a guy who was staying at the Royale Motor Lodge about 15 years ago and got several tips from Chester residents. The F.B.I. made a courtesy call to the Chester PD to let them know that a wanted fugitive was staying at the Royale, but instructed them not to do anything that would tip him off.

Rick Huey and Danny Walls (2 of Chester's finest) decided to play P.I. and go ask this gentleman if he was featured on America's Most Wanted or not, and then LEAVE THE MOTEL UNGUARDED.

Naturally he remained a fugituve for several days longer than he would have without Chester LE's 'help'. I'm sure the big boys know better than to involve them in anything that matters.

I can recall at least on sermon where RC was emphatic that the PARENTS are accountable for what the CHILDREN do!

With all due respect, I think you are seeing what you want to see. It is possible she was standing in front of another casket, remembering her grandson. She could have been standing next to her son and husband when the camera wasn't on!

Every time I see CCs mug shot I notice his left eye looks very different than his right eye. I haven't seen any pics of him before this case. It looks almost like his upper eyelid is swollen.

Time will tell, I suppose. For now, I choose to believe CC's parents are grieving and possibly quite overwhelmed. It has been reported that CC's Mom is quite ill. If that is the case, my heart goes out to her as she is having to live through all of this mess during what may be the end of her life.

I don't believe we know yet to what extent CC's parents are standing by him.

When they are minors and growing up, that is true. But there's the line where we need to remember that each of us is given the gift of CHOICE. So, kids can still CHOOSE to behave badly. It's how the parents handle those bad choices that the kids make! For example, if my son CHOOSES to smoke pot and I find it in the house, do I call the police and make him accountable for his actions? YES!

I may seem like a hard-nose to some, but my 18 year old has Asperger's Syndrome and even HE has thanked me for raising him up in the way he should go.

I hope my last post made some sense! LOL! If any of you are familiar with the "Love and Logic" approach, that's what I'm talking about. It is very Bible-based and for my boys, it worked great! I've got a couple of kids who make good choices most of the time. LOL
