I would love to, but, that week I don't believe I can. No child care due to vacation.

Awe :0( I'll have to do the babysitter route, but I really want to go see this firsthand. It's going to be quite a show with Art & Bill at the helm. I can't wait to see what kind of BS defense they come up with. And I just want to see CC in person for myself to see what my gut tells me in person. Keeping an open mind of course, but I am just really curious.

I never alluded to that at all ... me thinks your imagination is running a mite fast ... if I want to say something, the letters will appear on the screen.

The video was to illustrate that there are radical religious people that possess this abberant thought process. I'm sure he's not the only one. I found lots of links to the Jezebel spirit and it is always linked to a woman.
LOL OK, I will give you that...you did not allude to it except to mention he was "inherently dangerous". The rest I just made up. ;)

However, the defense team may try this angle. I think they are going to be SOL for any kind of defense tho. I would recommend they let him plead guilty and make a deal for a LWOP sentence.

Cool, you can report back to us. My number one sitter is the one vacation and back up can't do it days M - Thursdays.

I am not sure, but, I don't know if the defense does put anything on in a Prelim. I think they cross examine the State's witnesses, but, I don't believe they put on their own. I could be wrong though. It has been a long day, and I spent ages outside - fresh air wears me out. LOL

:bang:

Very true. Although I edited my previous comment to say I believe we may see some new headlines this week. Can't say exactly what or why I believe that. Call it a hunch.
What is CL? I read at PD, but not the others.

What's PD?

I know, I was spazzin' because I thought that it was Ananlytical saying that he was going to reveal his source about who the "real" suspect in this case is.:bang:

 That would be interesting to know since these fine men from MCS know they have the right guy. :waitasec:

I've tried to keep an open mind about the possibility that CC *may* be innocent, but MCS is the best of the best and I 100% trust that they have the right guy. This is not a setup. There is no conspiracy. There was no stalker, letter writing, mailbox beating, spray can toting ninja killer guy. There was CC. That was it. And now he's behind bars facing 3 counts of first degree murder, and that's exactly where he should be. Well done MCS!

I know they'll ask for bond based on innocence, blah blah blah, not a flight risk, blah blah, blah, but no they don't have to put on a defense. SA just has to prove they have a case to go to trial; which I fully trust they do or CC wouldn't be sitting where he is right now.

I totally agree! Add to that, I heard/read somewhere that the scene was so incredibly staged it stunned all LE who responded.

That is what I think. Should be interesting to see what the SA puts out there that day. Also, if CC's family and supporters show up.

Yeah I heard that too... may have even posted it before my self-imposed weekend hiatus. It's been said that once we see the crime scene pictures, we will all be shocked because it was so apparent that it took so long to stage it that there was no way Ninja dude could do it in an hour & eight minutes. It just makes me sick to think of him walking around that house for 21/2 to 3 hours doing whatever he could to throw off the investigators. He wasn't counting on MCS, however, and that thrills me!

I can't wait to hear some of the solid facts in the Preliminary Hearing.

Really.

And I see your self-imposed weekend hiatus didn't last either. I did stay off for almost 24 hours Fri -Saturday, which is pretty good, IMO.

I was really trying to be open-minded in the beginning because I haven't been hanging out here too long and I wanted to really examine it. I didn't want to go with my gut because sometimes they can be more about sterotypes, especially when you are new.

Then I was pretty much in the CC is guilty camp when Miss Mo Ho broke and since that is just soooo cliche I went back and mapped everything out. Based on what we know to me the facts, there are holes in the case against CC, however they are insignificant when weighed against "the big picture" that emerges once you lay everything on the table.

I'm excited for the trial, if any of you do go to the prelim it would be great if you posted about it! :) I'm going to be so jelous!

Hmmm. What holes in the case against CC do you see?

Hey I haven't been on since Friday morning ... except to answer 2 PM's. I hate to keep people waiting on things as important as PM's ;-) But I did stay away from the thread, or I'd get sucked back in and wouldn't live up to my promise to stay away for the weekend. We need a WS support group for those of us who can't stay away ;-)

As if Columbia and the teachers and students at Parkview have not had to deal with enough grief, yesterday one of the 2nd grade teachers was killed in a car accident.
