Hello, Websleuthers. I must admit I've been a long-time lurker for a long, long time. One of my favorite activities has been reading the posts all of you have written. From what I have seen, every single one of you is amazingly intelligent, clever, non-judgmental, open-minded, and extremely talented. Most of all, it seems everyone treats each other with respect - which is very rare in many of the other message boards I've posted.

I've mostly spent my time in the Cold Cases section, but the Coleman case has intrigued me from the very beginning. I know one can't judge a book by it's cover, so to speak, but the minute I saw Chris Coleman my gut feeling told me he is guilty: his facial expressions, body language, his hauling away of all his family's belongings less than a week after their deaths, his taking down of the beautiful memorial set up on his (previous) front lawn, so beautifully constructed by neighbors, his refusal to attend the service of Cheri and the boys' put on my Sheri's family, the supposed "threats", and finally, the TOD, which coincides with Chris being at home. The intruder theory just seems nearly impossible to me. I hear the defense is trying to get a change of venue. I hope this does not happen. A horrendous crime is committed in Columbia; the alleged perp should be tried in Columbia.

This is all my opinion.
And again, I'm happy to finally be a "participating" member of this wonderful board.

People like that are inherently dangerous when they set themselves up as the final authority and judge and jury and call themselves God's "watchman" thinking they have ultimate knowledge.

That guy is sorely mislead, IMO and extremely arrogant.

lol... i didn't watch the video but I have to agree CNN needs to go bye bye and Olsteen is another JMM who's getting rich off people using faith.
Why can't these people just live normal lives instead of being filthy rich.

I forgot GOD wants them to have all this money.

It seems we are pretty much on the same page about this case.

Chris and Sheri lived in Columbia and it is a distance from Chester. Why would they drive so far when there is a church nearby with basically the same belief system? I could understand Sheri and the boys wanting to stay within their community to attend church and socialize. I would guess most of the children at Destiny went to the same school as the boys.

Don't know. Someone posted it was a joke at PD. Hmmm ... guess we won't know until it is either released or if it comes up at the trial.

I did see a reporter on TV say the word she-devil was painted in the house. IIRC it was in the basement and he mentioned JM.

ETA, The reporter mentioned JM as being a possible reference.

Meyer was not a target of the threats. CC was targeted because he worked for Meyer. Of course this was all concocted by CC; and it will surely be revealed at trail.

Just remember this term ... Forensic Testimony. When the sealed warrants are revealed you will understand.

I could tell you some stories about things that have happened to my husband and I by the locals down here. Plus some stories that other transplants have told me about what has been done to them. (It would make your head spin and you all would understand exactly where I am coming from if you knew)
But if I did then I could end up ID'ing myself to the people whom might want to harm me for speaking out about this town and church.

I know that I have been slammed for speaking out and I have a feeling that the reason they are doing this is because they want me to slip up and say something that will ID myself or where I am getting my info from.

Sorry, but why on earth would you want to stay and live there? It sounds so "Stepford-like". I know what it feels like to not be "accepted" in a small town...but I've never felt fear.
