Unbelievable! Wonder if he saved all seemingly inconsequential receipts? Most people throw them away.

If they'd said they found it @ home in a folder or box with lots of other receipts, that would be one thing...but since that's not where they found it, and it's so old, why was he saving it?

Even if he purchased an add'l item & saved the receipt for say, warranty purposes, why carry it around in with him? File it away!

Creeps me out to think about why he may have saved it.

wow.... just read the spray paint was purchased 7-29-08

Why would CC have JM's airline ticket? Reading through the sickening details a terrible thought came to mind. . . I think that CC was going to kill JM next. If he hadn't been caught (and how could he not have?) I think that he would have attempted to harm Joyce and make it look like the "psycho baptist" did it. I think they will find more evidence to support this. Southernillinoisman, let your boss know she lucky to be alive. I hope that it's a wake up call for her. You said that she never got one single discerning bit of holy ghost forboding from this 🤬🤬🤬 - that's a spiritual red flag, and she would be very wise to pay heed to it. I say this with all due respect.
Hmmm...you know...I never considered it before now, but why not? Maybe killing her was part of the reason he killed his family...they were collateral damage to the person he really wanted dead? If he had gotten away with this and it was blamed on SODDI...he would have been in a position to do the same or worse to JM at some point. We already know how diabolical Chris Coleman is and there is no telling how far he would have gone if he wasn't caught so easily.

Where did Chris come up with the stuff he allegedly wrote in those "threatening" letters??

It's almost as if someone said this stuff to him and retained it...

"It says, "You have not listened to me and you have not changed your ways. I have warned you to stop traveling and stop carrying on with this fake religious life of stealing people’s money. You think you are so special to do what you do protecting or think you are protecting her. She is a (obscenity) and not worth you doing it. Stop today or else. I know your schedule! You can’t hide from me ever. I’m always watching. I know when you leave in the morning and I know when you stay home. I saw you leave this morning.""

He's nuts.

I find it odd that he left his wallet back at the house, it had his DL in it among other things (they found in the dining room in a Black bag) - I am surprised he left the house without it when he took his trip to the gym.
We know he was not allowed back in the house.

looking at the evidence list they took the rubber molding from the front passenger door frame of the green explorer (cc's vehicle)...

what on earth do you think they could be looking at here (or find here) ?

Blood or other bodily fluids for DNA testing. Remember OJ's Bronco with blood on the outside door?

Or... just a thought... it was found with his backpack/fanny pack thing with his wallet. He could have yanked it from the filing cabinet and put it with this backpack & fanny pack and either forgot it on his way to the gym - or thought LE would just let him take his personal bag and be on his way and no one would ever see the receipt. As dumb as he's turning out to be, I'd say it's likely.

Me neither, Fran. It's nearly as chilling to me as the murders we're discussing here.

I wonder if CC may have become disillusioned being so close to the JMM core. Perhaps he was truly a good, God-fearing man before he became associated with JMM and saw the ugly, underbelly of his faith???

Then again, the premeditation and cold-hearted nature of the murders would lead you to believe we are dealing with a born narcissistic physco here. IDK. It's really mind-boggling to me!
I can't possibly get inside his mind, but why kill his wife and two innocent children and not JM? I could even understand killing Sheri if she had turned into some whacked out religious zealot, but his kids? :waitasec:

they spray paint receipt was found in a black bag with other receipts - LE just pointed out this one receipt out of the bunch in this list because it was for spray paint.

Maybe blood from his scratched forearm?

Yeah, this is unbelievable. It seems they found the makeshift "noose" too rather quickly ... these officers were on top of their game.

Why did he leave it behind? It's kind of like leaving knife or gun at a murder scene -- it doesn't happen very often.

Seems he left a pair of latex gloves in the master bedroom too. Does this mean he killed the boys first, then his wife (then dropped the gloves in the bin)?

It's like he's calling out "CATCH ME"

And I don't get why he left SC naked and uncovered. He had no compassion for her. Personal victims are usually covered up (in many many cases). Maybe he was working too hard to make this an impersonal crime -- by leaving so much evidence around.

Sorry - trying to get my head in a killer's mind just isn't working.

Yeah, file it away or throw it away!! He's an idiot.

Although I agree that on the surface this looks really really bad, but I'd like to see their books and see where the money is going before I pass judgement on them. Maybe it goes to help people? By law they are required to send you that information if you request it.

On the flipside, I certainly would not be involved without checking them out!!!

Ok, I honestly believe I should apologize for my post mentioning the ministry. It probably was a cheap shot. After all, the ministry had NOTHING to do with this tragedy other than to employ the accused. I know there are going to be many who try to drag JM into this, but I don't believe that's fair. Along with that, her financial dealings have nothing to do with this case either, so we'll leave that subject to the IRS to investigate.

OTOH, I will say that I'm not surprised that JM cut Chris loose ASAP! She appeared to be there for him from the get go,............UNTIL she perhaps realized that he MOST LIKELY was the perp. From everything I've read today, as soon as anyone betrays her or anyone within her favor, she'll cut the bonds, without delay.

With that, I'm going to bow out of the ministry and Ms Meyers discussion. It's not relevant to the matter at hand and my personal opinion of her or her organization is................well,...........not relevant.

JMHO

He must have taken his Gold's card out to enter the gym. Maybe the killer was worried that a thief would steal his wallet? LOL

I couldn't understand him killing his wife for any reason :(

I understand where you're coming from. I too think it's a difficult situation to be in wherein an individual prides themselves on their ability to discern spiritually the depths of the soul but not seen an inkling of this. It's an upsetting thing for me.

Also, just to clarify, I don't work for JM or JMM; I am close with folks who do in a leadership capacity. I'm not a JM follower (not insofar as "following" her spiritually...different branch of the faith than myself.)

I am, like many of you, questioning how NO ONE saw this coming. But I always do in these situations.

Also, to clarify something about the money JM makes:

JM is paid a pretty reasonable salary from JMM and donates entirety of that salary back into the ministry. Where JM has made millions is as an author. That money she does take a healthy portion of, but a good part also goes back into the ministry. In other words, she does take royalty from the books and that, in and of itself, is a lot of money. Go to your local Walmart and look at the dozens of copies of JM books you'll find on all of their shelves. Go to your local Target store and you'll see JM magazines that look just like a Better Homes and Gardens or Ladies Circle magazine. This is where she makes money...she doesn't keep any money from the actual ministry activities (i.e. speaking engagments around the country, etc.)

Thank you. That kind of does change the picture. I haven't had a chance to read through the documents yet. :)

That is weird!! anytime you move, those satellite companies just say "leave the dish behind"... Unless Chris had some hidden camera placed in it or something!! Very strange.
