Very interesting, analytical. I want nothing more than to see CC have a fair trial. At the end of which, he will be found guilty and sentenced to - at the very least - life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Now then, if I were ever to be on trial, a jury of my "peers" would be people who watch the news, read the papers and KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON IN THEIR COMMUNITY. If not, they could not, realistically, be considered my peers. Then again, I believe the evidence that will presented at CC's trial (if it comes to that) will be more than enough to put him away forever - and then some.

I"m not sure it would matter. Many men throughout the years have had affairs. They either stay with the wives and work it out or they get a divorce. CC killed his family. I don't think it had anything to do with the affair. He wanted them permanently out of his life or he wanted something kept quiet. IMO I don't believe TL was his Motive. I think she was a hobby.

I think that MM was the motive. Had she not been there some other woman lacking character and morals would have.

I think that MM was the motive. Had she not been there some other woman lacking character and morals would have.

Motive may be overstating it. Catalyst......maybe. My dad cheated on my Mom nearly from the beginning of their marriage. He never would have murdered her, me and my brothers. IIRC, Scott Peterson's defense consisted largely of them claiming that being a cheater didn't translate into being a murderer. As much as I despise cheaters, I personally know many of them (men) who do not kill their families.

This whole case make's me sick at my stomach.. My thoughts... he in for the death penalty, though may need to move. I live close to Mary Winkler, that was a joke of a case all due to small town, religion, etc.. Hope they get his A$$ is St Louis or somewhere else.

i also know people that currently work high in her organization. air fair for cc and tl was paid on his (cc) jmm credit cards. which were cancelled the day before his arrest.

I'm surprised it took them that long to cancel them! Didn't he resign days before that?

And, not one person knows what the he!! CC told her. This "man" perfected lying as if it was an art. CC planned and carried out a murder of his wife and two wee sons. Could I go into the "art" of lying S.O.B's and that it was done simply for their own wants, needs, and feeling of entitlement? Absolutely. Have I been aware of other women as part of their extracurricular activities? Absolutely. However, bottom line is that these men I have had in my lfe decided for *them*. The other women were just part of an ugly and painful plan. They did not choose to destroy a family, the husbands did. Part of destruction of family, yes they were. But, these men are ultimately responsible for the final outcome.

It would be pretty stupid of her to believe him over what she knows to be the truth, wouldn't it? She is a friend of the family. They have mutual friends. She was even on Sheri's myspace page and was probably also on her Facebook page until she took it down. How would Chris have been able to pull the wool over Tara's eyes quite so easily? It isn't like this particular mistress could not pick up the phone and call Sheri at any time to say, "Hi and how is the divorce coming along?". We don't know that she didn't either!

IMO, Tara believed exactly what Tara wanted to believe. She was a good friend of Sheri and she betrayed her in the worst way by having sex with her husband, PERIOD.

IF and that's a BIG IF (in my book) Chris told Tara that he and Sheri wanted to divorce and she wasn't a total hoochie, she could have called Sheri, out of respect, and asked her if it would bother her if she & Chris hooked up.

I mean, My God, did Tara not know that Sheri would eventually find out anyway, DUH!

All that I wrote above was a scenario where Chris did not murder his beautiful family!
