Good one.

This is my daughter's ringtone. We're a strong independent lot!

on this thread. How many hours did I spend watching Youtube music videos last night? Not only did I watch the ones people posted, I went on a total nostalgia tour of Elton John/Bernie Taupin songs. I forgot how much I loved them when I was young. I thought they were so brilliant and cool and weirdly I still think so. I got so caught up in them.

I'm not sure which is my favorite but two songs written about the opposite coasts are right up there.

Tiny Dancer was written after Elton & Bernie's first trip to LA

and Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters was written after Bernie's first trip to NYC

FYI... check local listings.

PBS does a pledge drive series 'Moments to Remember'. Music wit original artists from 50's 60's 70's. Earlier, too. Obviously they have to play old films for some. A few weeks ago they had Steppenwolf and that whole genre. Cranked it up and rocked out. Groovy!

Made it thru last night's storm, thanks to all who responded. I found this little gem on youtube from the ADOC Rule Book 704 and Inmate Handbook. Can't vouch for its authenticity, but it seems real enough. :laughcry:

Yes I liked it a lot, mostly because Alex Skarsgard is adorably handsome in it... Lets discuss... I'm procrastinating...:seeya:

I miss your pic. :~(

It was really fun seeing everyone yesterday. That was an old picture of me anyways...Must Start Prancercizing...

Anyway, I just put in an even older one with my first pet ever Tweety...

Tweety came and landed on my fingers when I called...when I lived in Minneapolis for a year, my roomies taught Tweety to cuss, specifically

"Chirp, (effing), Chirp. Chirp (effing) Chirp."

When I came bacjk to texas I stayed with my mom for a couple of weeks and Tweety said that one day...

My mom goes "WHAT did that bird just SAY??"

:banghead:

Ms. Gheorghiu is a wonderful opera singer and Madama Butterfly is so sad.
Has anyone been to the opera? I always enjoy going. It's spectacular in person.

Thank-you.

I've never been but love to listen to the great arias
