Amazing how Lisa Marie looks so much like her daddy. My DH and I were just listening to / watching some Youtube videos of Elvis, he was so awesome. I actually saw him in concert in 1975. He is/was an absolutely awe inspiring human being. I truly miss him, . What a loss for this world. Realizing that I am much too selfish to say I am happy that he's gone, I can say that I'm happy for him, that he is now free from the burdens in his life that created such misery for him on this earth. My DH, btw, is not a very spiritual person at all. Yet as we were watching Elvis sing "Bridge over Troubled Water" and "How Great Thou Art" , etc. , my husband's comments were, "he knew, he knew"....

Did I ever tell y'all that my DH is a musician? Lead singer and pianist (Jerry-Lee Lewis type) had a band and an offer from Decca Records. He turned down the offer and pursued his law degree. I think pressure from his parents. Man, I would love to replace that formal dining table with a piano and let him rip !!!

I truly hate Jodi Arias, with every fiber of my being. I visited the YouTube tribute thread for Travis tonight and I'm in tears. May God have mercy on my soul...I hope she rots in h*ll.

Yes, you can talk about almost anything here, we just have to follow the rules!

Donavan is on probation, and is not supposed to be communicating with cmja. I think cmja's lockdown status has prevented her from the upkeep of her celebrity status, which is a good thing. :seeya:

I was never sure that Donovan had permission from JA to Tweet in her name. I don't Tweet and never read any of Donovan's Tweets. Anybody can pretend to be anybody on the internet now.
