I'm assuming this was one of the texts that the 4 saw as "verbal and emotional abuse." Juror 6 said the 4 got that not only from testimony, but from "texts and e-mails" that they saw.

That was just sex talk....I don't see what the big deal is. They were talking dirty to each other...texting dirty, I should say. I don't know how it was in older generations...I'm assuming their "talking dirty" during sex didn't get that graphic?? How anyone could get verbal/emotional abuse from these texts is beyond me. In that case, probably every young woman in America is getting verbally abused, a "verbal abuse" they willingly and happily partake in and encourage.

I'm a Baby Boomer (older generation- :floorlaugh:) and I never "sex talked" over the phone. If I was talking to my husband about "hooking-up" that evening, we would say "appointment" :blushing: (but I'm boring :floorlaugh:) and was raised by very strict old-world Italians.
I do understand that this is completely subjective and everyone is different, but I know how it is now and do not judge. My parents thought the world was going to the wolves :floorlaugh: and, believe me, they judged.
Besides, I think JA and Travis were consenting adults, so there nothing "wrong" with anything they did sexually :twocents:.

I can not believe the horror that you witnessed. Please report the low life jerk. I think I would have gotten my glock and pointed it at him. Not really, but I would have wanted to. People that abuse animals are worthless in my opinion.

I held a gun on a man once. It was late one rainy night and we were getting ready for bed and I heard screaming and went to see what was going on.

A young teenage couple with a newborn moved in a few weeks before and had had a few screaming arguments, and I thought this was another but outside. He had her on down on the ground in the middle of the road and the baby was a few feet from them. I went in to get my gun and told my husband to get out of the tub and call the police, and I went back out, pointed it and told him get off of her and stand up. I told him if he reached for the baby I'd kill him right then and there. I told him what I thought of him, and I told his young bride and mother that he wasn't worth it , he'd never change, he'd always be a chicken ***** who picked on women and children.

Hiya guys! Long time, no see! Anxiously awaiting to see what happens.

I really need to catch up on what everyone is talking about here! I quit smoking and started "vaping" so I have been obsessing over on that forum about all my new toys! The real test is gonna be when this trial starts back up..... I kid, I kid. I quit for realsies.

Anything earth shattering going on lately with this. I barely even turn on the news with all the zimmerman stuff that they started showing.

Gonna go back a few pages to see what I missed.

I've been "vaping" for 4 years with no "analog" cigarettes at all. I smoked for over 25 years prior to switching to an e-cig. This is the best thing I could've ever done for myself. Best of luck with your new smoke free life. Happy vaping! (Think of all the money you'll save!) :great:

"Appointment"....:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Exuse me, sir...I'll see you at our "appointment" at 6:00 this evening. Please bring your "stapler". :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

:blushing::blushing:

You didn't have phone sex or "text sex"...lol...but you can still see the truth of the matter. I wish you had been on the jury instead of Foreman!

Wow! Talk about suspense...
Did you ever find out what happened with them? I mean, what ended up happening, as in did they stay together or what?

BBM That was good :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:
But, my dear, you have to understand that we were very "civilized" and "cultural", blah, blah...blah ,blah :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

'Master manipulator/liar' is not actually what Jodi is. To call her that would mean she was not only able to connive her way into a situation but also maintain the position in the relationship whether personal or business.

Jodi would finesse her way into a situation, but never stuck around very long because the facade would quickly crack. She'd not just try to work herself in, allowing anyone to accept her. Jodi came on like gang busters as though she'd been there forever.

A 'master manipulator/liar' would not be in the current situation. Average people (the jury), strangers thrown together, saw right through her.

Jodi is master of NOTHING.

BBM

When you say that, I think of Prince William and Kate...I imagine they talk to each other the same way..."let's make an 'appointment,' shall we, my dear?"

Oh, NO. I told you, I'm boring :floorlaugh:.
We usually were at our respective offices and didn't want anyone to know what we were talking about and "appointment" was very appropriate at the time.
I wouldn't know how to talk "sex talk". I'm sure my husband would've loved it.
Maybe I should've taken lesson?? :floorlaugh: But from who?

Y'all are a hoot tonight! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Well, thank-you. You should drop by more often. :seeya:
I don't know where all the others are. Usually the Sidebar is hopping with music videos, make believe food, hot-tubs and Prancersizing :floorlaugh:.
(oh, and make-believe drinks and sometimes lovely pictures of those young, flat-stomached, long haired men :blushing:).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eph_cWheyA 48 Hours Mystery Unraveling The Lies of Jodi Arias The Convicted Killer of Travis Alexander.
In this video Dr.Stuart Klineman, Forensic Psychiatrist and Consultant to 48 hours states:
true amnesias are rare...cover-up behaviour shows that she did remember..."it takes a certain person with great 'hootspa' to go on National television & tell 'a big lie' to the entire world." Without using diagnostic terminology as she is not his client, the clues in his statement refer to the 'scale' of her lies and the scale that she expects the 'entire world' to believe her. IMO this infers psychopathology beyond the range of normal.
