It has to be me I have been living here for 5 yrs. and the dogs are stuck in a cage at least 98% of the time. They have never been walked, I don't see water in their cages. I guess they get feed? They have went through several dogs in the 5 yrs. Just 2 months ago they kept a poodle on a rope 24/7 and a dog got loose and killed it. The little poodle couldn't run because it was stuck on a rope. The dogs constantly bark. The neighbors just deal with it. If I lived near them believe me they would have lost their dogs a long time ago. Even if I had to take them myself.

MOO but why would you wait five years to do something? Please do SOMETHING today and don't stop until you physically see authorities at the house of animal abuse. Those poor animals.

goodmorning everyone!!!!! hope you all had a wonderful weekend. it's raining here which is my favorite weather, so I"ll be inside doing art projects with the kids for Father's Day... any military wives out there have any ideas on something i can send that's easy? I was thinking hand prints of both kids to go along with their cards.

Not a military wife but I saw a guy wearing a great t-shirt yesterday. On it was printed 'World's Best Dad, Hands Down!' And under that was the handprint of a child. I assume his kid made it for Father's Day. Maybe you could adapt that idea (if you can't send a T-shirt). That guy was so proud of the shirt when someone commented on it.

:stormingmad:Legalmania -grab that dog and march into a vet's office!!! Tell them the story. A lot of times the vet staff will convince the owner to turn the animal over to them. They will treat the injuries, and keep the dog until it is better and they can find a good home for it. My daughter has been in the vet profession for over a decade - this is the course of action they take the most. They NEVER want the animal to go back to that home and will do everything to prevent it.

There are Laws on the Books for animal cruelty...a lot of times LE isn't aware of the exact statutes, so they aren't sure what to do at first.....This link comes up "CA Law" but in the menu on the left of the page under "Primary Legal Materials" (I think) they have SPCA/State Law for all 50 states. Just find your state. I think they have Fed Law on this site too.....

I love this song so much!! Judas Priest did an amazing cover of it in 78-79...boy they were a lot younger then in this video :floorlaugh: Rob Halford still can sing though....

I am definitely a night owl. I practically rule the night. I love to stay up all night and then crawl in bed as the sun comes up when hubby is getting up to start the day. . Then I sleep till noon.

With all due respect, what does you living near them have to do with the dogs best interest? What does your location have to do with anything?? :waitasec:

Morning everyone.
Hope your morning is good.
Mine, so far, is blah. It's raining again (and I just put my ark away from when it rained for 3 days. Rain 3 days, sun for 1, then rain again. Mud season.).
I do like rain, but it's hard to garden in the rain. And now all the slugs and snails will come out in numbers. I hate them, but I murder them with a spray bottle of ammonia and water (and then I feel bad for them).
Decaf coffee is on and I have some cereal with bananas and cold milk if anyone wants.

BBM~ Decaf? No thanks. I'm a hard core caffeine addict.

It poured last night, and now it's beautiful day today.

I broke my ankle yesterday, and the entire time, I was thinking about the pain that Travis had to endure. It's safe to say, that I get personal with these cases. I won't be on for a few days, the dr. ordered bed rest for a couple of days. I love you guys , and will miss you, but I shall return!
