I would have had all my friends over whenever I had to go out, and walk or drive me. My windows would have been locked and then closed with a stick. I kept a few other surprises around also. I remember when Ted Bundy was killing all those women how scared I was. Then we had Otis Toole and his buddy Henry Lee Lucas. Killing small children. I actually faked being sick so I didn't have to go to school, It worked for awhile. I hope the people get a long over due break

I was a student at FSU when Bundy killed the girls at Chi Omega and it was terrifying. They set up a system so guys would volunteer to walk girls from class to class. One of my classes was at night, and the professor would walk us to our cars or dorms to make sure we were safe. We were instructed to not go anywhere on campus alone.

When Bundy was arrested and I saw him on TV I realized that I had seen him, I had spoken to him, and if I hadn't brushed him off because I was late to class I could have easily been a victim.
I later found out that he lived right on the route I walked every day after classes.
I still know so many people whose lives he affected. People whose wallets or license plates he stole.

I had nightmares about him for years. Those stopped when he was executed.

Good Morning everyone!! It is going to be hot hot hot today but I don't mind heat but cannot stand the cold.

Many moons ago when I was a carefree college student I lived next to a guy that was called the 'Southwest Molestor'. He mutilitated women in the SW part of the city.
I was also friends with his brother. His brother had a restaurant that I liked . All the time that this wacko was molesting , torturing and multiating women, I was his neighbor.
He got sentenced to 800 years and died in prison a few years ago.

There are crazy people everywhere.

The "old max" prison was evacuated last night because of wild fires. They transferred all of the medium to low security prisoners to other front range facilities... :seeya:

I could smell the smoke this morning, last year it was so bad it was like the neighbors were burning a 24/7 bonfire. Cough cough!
