You guys have me wanting to see this movie (again). It's 1971 I think and I was just 21 years old, so I really didn't know chit about relationships and weird stuff like that. So ... when I watched it, I thought it was so far out there and that nobody could be like that. NOW ... I know different. :scared:

Anybody know where I can watch it online? I tried YouTube but can't seem to find the full movie.

TIA:seeya:

Hi Syndi! You can watch it on your computer by going to this Amazon link. It will cost $2.99.
Amazon.com: Play Misty for Me: Clint Eastwood, Jessica Walter, Donna Mills, John Larch, Jack Ging, Irene Hervey, James McEachin, Clarice Taylor, Donald Siegel, Duke Everts, George Fargo, Mervin W. Frates, Tim Frawley, Otis Kadani, Brit Lind, Jo Heims: Movies & TV

I'm in Salem VA for the nite. Wow what a pretty place! I want to move here. Anyway, for my Sleuthers.....

It's a small world! I lived in Salem, VA until I was 16. Then, I moved about half an hour away to Roanoke, VA. I always feel blessed to have gotten to spend so much of my childhood growing up back there. Enjoy the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! And take a look at the Mill Mountain Star. I loved that star as a child. Back then, it would be lit up all in red if someone had died in a car accident in the valley that day. If everyone made it safely home, The star would be White. Fortunately, my memories of it are of seeing it Shining White on top of the mountain.

My dad grew up in Roanoke and went to Jefferson HS. Are you still there?:seeya:

Could be he wanted to bust up your chifforobe.

I remember reading To Kill A Mockingbird when I was nine. It always reminded me of visits with my uncle who was a sheriff, and he'd would lock us in the jail cell in his office. We'd go into the courtroom and out the windows and slide down the fire escape. It's weird that Henry Lee Lucas and I have a jail cell in common.

Hi DaisyMae! My hubby graduated from Jefferson High in 1972. Our daughter was born in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in December 1972. No, we no longer live there. Hubby joined the Air Force in 1974--so we left and never moved back. We have been living in Las Vegas, NV for about 22 years now. Our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren live here in Vegas as well. :seeya:

So what do y'all think about the State Prosecution's filing to the court yesterday? Will they get that July 30 DP retrial? I've been mostly absent for a couple of days and want to know.....

I won't be watching the movie. Thought I'd make my own mini anecdotal version :fence:

Small world indeed! Dad was born in 1914 so he would have graduated in the very early 1930's. I would love to see a HS photo of him. I have a senior yearbook from his brother but dad's not in it. They lived on Rutledge - do you know where that is? We took a family trip there when I was 12 and got my first pair of Weejun's at The Clothes Horse. Long, long time ago.

I think they will get it. Juan was correct with everything he said in his motion. There is no need to wait until after the new year. I pray the judge moves this along!

I graduated HS in 1972 - I wonder if your husband is familiar with Vandenberg AFB?

I have been lurking here since the hung jury, but tomorrow should be a very telling
day.

Very off topic, I went to a job party today, and I talked to the lawyer who was Paul Bernardo's defence lawyer.

Very interesting conversation we had.

It really takes a very void mind to defend these people.
