My heart is broken. The Dylan Redwine forum has been closed, due to what I can gather is simple bickering. It's soooooo easy to read WS TOS? I don't get it? I get why the MODS shut it down. What I DON'T get, is the bickering?

Has anyone ever seen the movie Play Misty for Me? I watched it yesterday for the first time, even though it's an old movie. I wonder if that's what it was like for Travis? This chick was a real nut. Sorta reminded me of the movie Fatal Attraction.

"Play Misty for Me" is such a classic that, from time to time, it will be the answer to a clue on Jeopardy.

I haven't watched it in years but I am getting goosebumps just remembering how scary she was.:seeya:

I think "Katie" is supposed to represent Lisa Andrews. Wasn't it Lisa that she saw with Travis when she peeped in through the window?

I'm not sure I'm going to like this movie from what I've read, but I will probably check it out due to curiousity. I've read interviews with the two cast members who play JA and Travis, and their take on the characters doesn't impress me much. Although the guy playing Travis refused to portray him as anything but a victim, so at least he got that right.

You guys have me wanting to see this movie (again). It's 1971 I think and I was just 21 years old, so I really didn't know chit about relationships and weird stuff like that. So ... when I watched it, I thought it was so far out there and that nobody could be like that. NOW ... I know different. :scared:

Anybody know where I can watch it online? I tried YouTube but can't seem to find the full movie.

Probably not as bad as I am thinking it is.

I sold a large chest of drawers on gumtree (like Craigslist) I use them all the time and no problems. The person that bought them had to hire a man with a van...he arrives everything is fine, ive bent down to fet the last part is going out the door and I hear him say stunning about three times, I say nothing of course and he follows that up by 'it was all worth the journey just for that' assuming he is referring to my cleavage which to be honest is practically non existent. I slam the door shut and and he continues to try and say things to me.
Im a grown woman of 26 but i live alone with my two kids (2 and 4)

Oh and this guy was at least 60 id say and just had one of those looks about him.

I called the woman that had bought the drawers to make sure her husband was with her after that.

I'm overreacting right?

BBM What else did he try to say to you? If that happened to me I would have figured that he was saying his goodbye to you and on the way out commenting on how his new chest of drawers was "stunning" and as far as his comment about how it was "worth the journey" I would chalk that up to him having to go through the extra expense to hire a man with a van. Do you know how far away he lived?

You probably have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, the US has had a few "Craigslist Killers".

I have been a member of these TA "support" pages for a long time and I have watched them turn from something positive into a lynch mob. Some of the things people say is appalling. The people who run the pages have turned into dictators of sorts. This is not something TA would have ever condoned or been a part of. I did quit both pages.

For the CAT LOVERS…Have you ever offered your cat CELERY LEAVES? I was just cleaning some celery and both my cats nearly attacked me trying to get to the celery. I quickly Googled to see if it was safe and found that most cats react to celery like they do to catnip. And celery IS SAFE for cats. When I got back from the computer the cats were rolling all over the celery, loving it!

(My cats are not impressed by catnip. But the man that installed my Direct TV opened the cupboard above the TV and saw the Ziplock bag of catnip and gave me a "knowing smile". At 1st I didn't understand, then I caught on and explained it was only catnip. I'm still not sure if he believed me. :floorlaugh

So did I, I'm disgusted .. the lies they've spread have become gospel because there's no fact checking done and once everyone believes it it's almost impossible to argue against it. I quit too. It's very sad, and worse the admins will be running the Andrea Sniederman page too amongst others, so I guess we can expect more of the same.

Latest on the Doce Fire....sometimes I'd like to ring the media's neck. The best way to get the news is go into town! Yesterday afternoon, my son and his GF went into Chino Valley, just NE of the blaze. They could see the flames, huge clouds of smoke, and ash was falling in Chino. The horizon in the South last night was orange. Pics off the roof yesterday

We are 20 miles from the blaze, have had 40 mph winds today and no containment yet. My BF, Don, went into Chino this morning for feed and some misc. items........flames, smoke and ash.
BOOKS! Went AWOL from WS...read ALL of the "The Pillars of the Earth", Awesome read! Son's GF has the 2nd book, am putting off diving into that for just a little bit..........Downloaded "Gone Girl" OMG! Finished just a while ago, am going to download "Sharp Objects". Gone Girl is fantastic, started it last night, drug myself to bed, jumped right back on it after I got my stuff done this morning. Both great authors, I didn't find myself in a "snoozefest" with either book.
You folks are going to have to put some more interesting selections up!
"Gone Girl" I give 2 thumbs up. I didn't have a pre-conceived notion of how I wanted it to end, and it did have some great twists, especially after watching this CMJA trial, you just KNOW this crazy b**ch Amy is psycho!!!! Great read for anyone between trial watching, sleuthing!

Trying to catch up on posts and occasionally going outside to see how the blaze is doing. We're pretty safe, people in this area have always been good about maintaining fire breaks and dragging their property for vegetation that dries up this time of the year, the animals get a little freaked when the wind changes directions, and they catch the smell of smoke. The tractor has a full tank if we need to cut some more breaks with our neighbors if the situation gets a little crazy. Haven't had a range fire here in Paulden since I moved to the area, so 24 years of just careful vigilance.
