It's miserably hot and humid here. Can I come stay with you YesorNo? In return you can come down here for the winter where there is no snow, rarely have to wear a coat, and I wear shorts all winter indoors.

Meanwhile, I went to pay my water bill today as I ran out of checks, and went to the electric company to pay it! :floorlaugh:

Just discovered this song tonight (yes, I'm clearly a young one) and I absolutely love it. Wow. MUCH better than the country version.

Awwwwww, M. Don't weep, but I know just how you feel. A couple of days ago I was crying about the future of my life and feeling all yucky :scared:.
I wallowed in the muck and mire for a day- I allow myself some wallowing :floorlaugh:. It feels good in the muck sometimes, but I don't stay there- that's dangerous.
I was in solitary confindment :jail: with my internet provider because of too much "usage" and they TOed me (I felt all alone) :stormingmad:. My AC in my bedroom broke and I found out that my older son won't be able to come for a visit this month. My landline phone wasn't working and it was so hot and humid :hot:. Too much yuck at once for me. :truce: :anguish:
All this passed- thank goodness. :seeya:

Aww, thank you! I know we all have junk going on in our lives. I'm so thankful that I have a job that keeps me swamped during the day. It's a great distraction. I have too much time on my hands in the evenings I guess. Just having one of those nights. It's mild here tonight...just put a fan in my bedroom window and I'm hoping for a peaceful sleep Love and hugs to you, YorN....I always love reading the "funnies" you post!

I'll sleep on my old 25 year old couch- I like it better anyhow for sleeping- it's big and comfy. We'll have PJ's on all day and do whatever we want :seeya:.

Thanks for this from Janis, "the Pearl", Joplin. She was a great singer and sung from her heart and soul. I just loved her. It's too bad she was into drugs and ended her life too soon. The night she died, she overdosed with some "pure" heroin. She didn't know how 'pure" it was. A lot of people died from the heroin from that dealer. I read a book about her, Scars of Sweet Paradise by Alice Echols- the life and times of Janis Joplin.

Sadly, I'm not kidding. I'm in love with this song and have been watching her music on Youtube for the last hour. Amazing. Don't check out the Faith Hill version of this song...way too sugary coated. Blech.
