Hi there! Just a reddish brown color. You're lucky, I've inherited my mom's genes and have had stray grays since I was 25 lol. I color my hair a lot, probably once a month. Nothing extreme though, and it's always from a $6 box from Walgreens. I've never spent more than $30 on a haircut or anything like that.

Tonight I splurged on a box on hair color and new mascara...it's the little things that make me happy

Sounds pretty m. Once in a while you have to spoil yourself.

I'm loving the coolness right now. It's been SO hot and humid. A break from that is welcome. Hope it's coming to everyone on the East coast too. It's been so HOT for you.

What did everyone have for dinner tonight? I'm having major "tummy troubles" due to stress so all I had was a few crackers with peanut butter. I'm going to live vicariously though all of you. (the 3 or 4 of us that are posting anyway :floorlaugh: )

I'm totally craving a huge, greasy bacon cheeseburger and french fries *drool*

We had leftovers. I made pulled pork yesterday in the crockpot and boiled potatoes (my sons favorite- with butter). Tonight, since there wasn't enough boiled potatoes- I gave them to son- I made mashed potatoes and green beans to go with the pork.
Campbells makes this packaged sauce for the crockpot- something new here- chipotle and peppers, I think, so I thought I'd try it for the pork. Was very good.
Too bad about the tummy troubles.

We had BBQ ribs m. My husband has a rub that is to die for. When he told me the recipe included cocoa powder I said "what"? But it was the best ribs I ever ate.

I wish I was closer, I love a greasy burger and fries. I would go with you for that.

Hotter than Hello. It was 97 today. I like it warm but this is to much. Feels like a sauna outside. I will drink to a bit of coolness...even a few breezes. Tomorrow 91 with pm thunder storms. Mid 80's on Sunday. I'll take that. The only good thing about this weather is it is great for the skin. The humidity makes it look dewy all day long. Not so good for the hair. It just looks wet and limp.

Hope you feel better. I eat crackers when I have an upset tummy, and like you stress gets to my stomach.
It has really been to hot to eat a meal, so I have been picking. I did have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich this afternoon. Someone posted a pic the other day of P & J sandwich and it looked so good. Tonight, just salad and lots of water.

A friend wanted me to go to the beach today. I politely said Heck NO, to hot for me. I use to sit at the beach all day long in my younger years. The temperature or humidity didn't matter much to me then. As I have been getting older the humidity...not so much the heat, bothers me. I could of never have stayed on the beach today. Besides that, long exposure to the sun gives me a rash on my ankles. IDK what that is about. I use to tan so nice.

SO humid here as well. Thank goodness for those skin blotter wipe things. I have oily skin as it is, and my makeup would be disgusting if it weren't for those. I straighten my hair everyday because it's so frizzy, so thank goodness for ponytails holders too!

Just back from shower to cool off. Mine is a beagle mix with a little rottie and lab, but looks like a giant 80 pound beagle. :floorlaugh: Roomie's is a Pekingese mix and so adorable. Newt is his name!

SO humid here as well. Thank goodness for those skin blotter wipe things. I have oily skin as it is, and my makeup would be disgusting if it weren't for those. I straighten my hair everyday because it's so frizzy, so thank goodness for ponytails holders too!

I haven't been putting on make up because it feels to heavy in this weather. I don't care as I have not been going out the last few days. My feet do not even want to wear flip flops. Next week it's going to be better...in the 80's and not so oppressive, so that will be better.
