To add to the mix: We are not on EST. We are on EDST. British Summer Time is two hours in advance of Greenwich. Plus, the Crown waited four hours post birth before announcing it to the streets and the world. I say, let the Brits sort this out for us.

Man infatuated with Jodi Arias arrested over anchor threats

snip

David Lee Simpson, 48, was arrested in Bath, New York after a month-long investigation. MCSO said Simpson became infatuated with Arias and was angered by the way the female anchors covered the trial. He allegedly sent the anchors threatening tweets.

MCSO said some of the tweets threatened to strap the anchors to a "tree naked and leave them to suffer all night" and "slit their throats." Simpson also allegedly told a co-worker he wanted to gut one anchor "like a deer."

Simpson was arrested after he quit his job. He was located by police and was found to be in possession of guns, ammunition, handcuffs, zip-ties, binoculars, a knife and a police radio. A receipt for a shotgun was also found, but the gun has not been located.

My apologies if this is old news. Hi everybody!

Wow, that's crazy. Glad they caught the guy.

I hadn't seen this, thank you! :seeya:

I used the World Clock that listed the current time in London and it's 5 hours difference. So I hope that is correct.

Yes, 4:24 p.m. in London but in England in use is British Summer Time so we still don't know when Baby was born in terms of Greenwich Mean Time. Depends on what time was used in the announcement.

You mean GreenWITCH Mean Time? ;) I couldn't resist :floorlaugh:

I like Arthur James Michael - but that's just me. The Duke of Cambridge has four names, do they always use four? Does anyone know?

I tried to find an answer for you and what I came up with is that four is not a magic number. Some have had many more and others have had only three names. There are some articles floating out there right now, if you care to look.

My understanding is that it is a tradition with European upper class to give their children three names. My son's father was born of an English (Scottish) father and French mother. The family served the crown in the colonies for generations; my son's dad was born in Morocco and prior to that generations had served in India.

When our son was born it took days to come up with the "right" names and we could not leave the clinic until a birth certificate, complete with name, was on file! Like all of the first born males, my son was named John first, followed by an unusual name with no tradition. The final name stumped Daddy John; it had to roll off the tongue with the other two names. Finally, he decided on Alexander, after his grandfather.

Son goes by Sunshine, which the doctor did not like at all and was not going to put on the birth certificate!

My English grandmother, commoner that she was, only gave my dear mum one name. No middle name.

I, on the other hand, was raised Catholic where all we had to worry about was making sure a saint's name was in there somewhere. I did not suggest Ignatius as a name for our son...LOL.

I'm heading over to dude's house in about 20 minutes to get my stuff. Have your finger on the "ignore" feature because I'm sure I'll be back later, bawling like a baby. (and I swear I didn't shave my legs or fix my hair and makeup...)

I promise I'll stop whining about this one of these days.

Hi m :seeya:. How are you tonight? How's the weather in Iowa? It's really cool here today for July. :cold: But that's better than being :hot:.

We're here for you m.

The inmate tweeted again

"The State rejected my 3rd request for a plea to settle quietly and less expensively. Off to retrial we go. Sorry, taxpayers."

Stay strong and you will do fine.

The reason for obtaining the Witch Time is that you cannot do a horoscope without it. The Sun, Moon and planets do not care a fig what time we set our watches to in the spring and the fall. We clock or track all of their movements from Greenwich Time. But we are not doing his chart. The Royal Astrologer will do that for us. The confusion about the birth time came from the fact that we heard about his appearance at 3:33 p.m. EDST, which equates to 8:33 p.m. there. We also know the Crown waited four hours to release the notice which gets us back to 4:33 p.m. in England. Give them the few minutes to coordinate the communications and we are back to 4:24 p.m. in England, which is the claim. I would guess that they were using Big Ben, the house clocks and their watches, all showing Br. Summer Time, not the necessary Witch Time (GMT). But they will clear that up shortly, I'm sure.

m1279, our thoughts are following right behind you. This bounder should have delivered your things to you. Godspeed!
