Same here, but 2 are blonde blue eyed, 1 brown haired, brown eyed. One daughter is 5'4 the other 5'8. I was blonde, yet now artificially so, and my husband had brown hair. Notice past tense. :floorlaugh:

Is your son a blonde and how tall are you?

Sucks to get older doesn't it. When that menopause hits, it sucks even worse. I want my younger face and body back.

Yeah, me too, but was thankful when the M hit me. I had it bad with crying, temper and moods all those years. Now I'm just so sweet. :floorlaugh:

I think she is hoping for pediatrics or perhaps work in a doctors private practice and she even mentioned visiting nursing. I don't think she is sure yet.

Peds med/ is a good base if she wanted to build on it. It take s a special kind of person to do peds. Private doctor offices can be fun, but don't pay as well. I did Home Health Care for 3 months. It was hard for me to anything that wasn't critical care. I did med/surg first then did Surgical ICU. That is where I learned everything I needed to know basically. Did ER and Recovery for years. Loved working in those Because everyday was a ...surprise!

Me too, I always thought I was going to be a b*tch when that happened but just the opposite.

I will pass that info on to her. I am sure she would appreciate it. She has a little time to think.
Do you still do nursing?

My son is 5'8 . He was failure to thrive and was not going to grow to full heigh. Well that didn't stop him from being a ladies man :floorlaugh:

5'8 is a good height for a man. Hubby is that height.

I retired when I got sick as I could no longer work. But once a nurse, always a nurse.

He is a little concerned that he is shorter. It bothers him that his sister is the same height .oh well there are more things to worry about. Like how we are gonna pay for 3 kids in college at the same time. ahhhhhhhhhhhhb

What's celexa?

It is essentially an anti depressant, an SSRI. It works on anxiety and depression and OCD. There are other things that is does that are off label.

It works very well for me for anxiety. Not sure about depression. I was a super hyped up kid that couldn't sit still and was always that way until around 50, and all that inner jumpiness and anxiety went away .... in about 15 minutes when I took the first pill. :floorlaugh: Seriously!

College, yea that's tough. My kids are putting themselves through. We do not have that kind of money. Raising 4 was tough enough but we did it. They had everything they needed not necessarily everything they wanted.
Last year the company I worked for down sized. I was one of the people who lost there job. Unemployment, is not that good and it is running out along with the severance pay. Looking for a job at my age is tough. They look at those years on the resume and that is pretty much it. I was told by a recruiter to get the numbers off the resume and reduce the number of years experience on it. I wish I could retire but I am to young and it is unrealistic. Hubby is self employed. That is hit or miss. Kind of unsettling.

Tell me about the other things when I'm feeling better and more alert. I'm still feeling dreadful with this cold thing.

Hmm, sounds good. I take a sedative once in a while too. I have always been anxious and prone to anxiety attacks. Not so much anymore but when nervous I feel knots in the tummy and want to barf.

It's getting late. I need to get some sleep. Good night. Sleep well.

So glad you got relief. I take pritiq. I am "Mellow-er" or so I think. :winner::bedtime::crosseyed::countsheep:

Good night all. Thx Ricki for sharing your daughter big day. :seeya:

Ask your physician about it and see what he/she recommends.
