Back in January, when it was really cold here, our furnace went. It was spewing fine dirt for months before it went. What a mess. A mouse got into the fan housing and the fan broke off. We have a conure (bird) so she got the space heater. The dogs were so cold I put blankets on them and my 94 lb. puppy would jump up on the bed and lay on top of me.

My whole workers comp check went to replacing the furnace as we had to get a heat pump too. Long story short, my new vacuum cleaner is so awesome, all that dirt is gone. I couldn't believe how different my carpeting looked. That is sad isn't it!

Furnaces are so expensive- but we need them, especially if you live I cold places.
