SIDEBAR #19- Arias/Alexander forum

There's one week before the next case management hearing. So far, we have not seen any objections filed to the DT motions to limit media coverage or change of venue. Likewise there has not been a response to the renewed request to sequester jurors/indvidualized voir dire.

I would expect to see David Bodney file an objection to the motion to limit media coverage.

Should we be expecting a prosecution response to other motions/requests in front of the judge?

I've been expecting motions since last Thursday. Maybe after the RC trial goes to verdict watch (this afternoon) JM will be able to get those responses filed (not sure why we haven't seen a media objection yet), maybe a flurry of paperwork to end the AZ work week (Thur.)

I listened to Trish's True Crime Radio from last night with Shanna Hogan and Sky Hughes. New information that was of interest to me included:

-CMJA's dad does believe the self defense claim.

-Shanna did try to reach out to CMJA's family and friends, but came up with little. The Arias family did not respond to her outreach. She did speak to Bobby Juarez once. With all of the media coverage, the press did work to dig up information on her past, but family and boyfriends were not talking. No friends to speak of were found.

-Shanna has a source who has provided her with some info on CMJA while she has been in jail. Per this source, CMJA is still disconnected with reality of her situation and shows no understanding of the seriousness of her situation. She does not plan on showing any regret or remorse. These observations are pretty consistent with her tweets and outreach via her web page.

-She has not read the manifesto that CMJA wrote in jail. They did discuss the 22 page letter to Travis's grandmother. Skye described it as disgusting and demented where so much of it did not make sense. This is when she was telling the intruder story. There were parts of it that were very upsetting and appeared to be based in the truth when she described how Travis suffered when he was killed.

-There was also discussion about many texts, emails, etc. that were not presented in court which would have shown that Travis was trying to end his sexual relationship with her. There are exchanges with Travis begging her to move back to CA. Sky also said that you can see in his texts where he asks her not to come to his house. She also said that their were times in their relationship where they were having sex and times that they weren't. I had suspected this to be the case, so it was good to have this confirmed.

-There was also discussion about CMJA originally being the booked for the Cancun trip and her lying on the stand about this. Skye said that Travis had given PPL her name as the companion and called PPL to ask how to go about changing this. At the time that he made the change, airplane tickets had not yet been booked by PPL, so that PPL did not have records that would show this change.

BBM: And there you have it. A family that just did not know how to handle her, believing what she claims no matter how many inconsistencies there are. It could be why JA is the way she is. Very sad for them. jmo

I know I read it I thought it weird at the time that no one mentioned it. The conversation was between her dad and LE..I think there is a lot to this we will never know.:facepalm: :seeya:

Not necessarily. Doctors are good about not leaving too obvious a scar. Sometimes there is no scar depending on the quality of the doctor and the type of surgery. I have googled pics of butt implants (don't judge me) and the scars are not visible. I don't see any scar on her breasts either, although those are poor quality pictures, so it probably wouldn't help anyway.

Sometimes they go thought the armpit, belly button, or under boob. ( yes, under booby) I opted for the latter

Isn't this what he told Flores in their recorded interview? I seem to remember him saying such a thing.

I would think bottom=butt.

Still, it's possible he only said breasts and you added the bottom part (Dr. Sameuls, ALV). I will check out the tapes.

No, you are not, and I don't plan to. I told a neighbor (that I love) this but she gave me the book anyway- it collects dust next to my bed. It is a personal reason for me. I do not feel sex and violence (that's what it is, I don't care what anyone says) should be intertwined- being degraded or demeaned either... or having no power or say. As women we begin in this position already in our society, IMOO. I dated a man that was in to mild S/M behavior- I didn't like it and was uncomfortable. Sorry for the O/T, ETA I do not judge others for it... as Linda said- not my cup of tea!

The twin foals were at the ISR/ Oldenburg inspection yesterday. They are adorable. They are about 4 1/2 months old. The filly trotted next to her mom, the colt ran around the ring and gave us a show. This inspection was to be in the ISR/Oldenburg registry and a judge comes over from Germany every year and spends all summer judging youngsters. These miraculous foals were born around the guilty verdict in the CMJA trial. Twins Re very very rare.

I wanna read a book about a guy that does housework in the nude and looks great while doing it. Gives a super awesome foot rub and back massage....brings home the bacon and can fry it up in the pan ....that's HOT to me

ITA. I wasn't sure what the book was about but it sure got a lot of media coverage. IIRC Joy Behar asking Obama if Michelle had read it. He didn't know.
