Does anyone find the Farmers Almanac to be reliable? I used to glance at it when I worked but never tried to figure it out completely. :seeya:
Snow? You's die laughing cause when we do get flurries, everything comes to a complete stop. Schools close, etc.
Sometimes we get a couple of inches.
I had never seen more than a couple of inches in my entire life until I went to Colorado!
I thought of shingles, too, but she is itching whereas shingles are rather painful.
That's the amount of snow that we had in Pa. When it snowed 2" :scared:, everyone rain out to buy milk :floorlaugh: But that's changed in the last couple of years for Pa.- there has been more snow (according to my friend and my son in NJ).
We have had some pretty wicked snowstorms here in upstate NY and I hope that's not the forecast for this Winter :scared:
I hate snow :stormingmad:, although it is pretty when you're looking out the window drinking hot chocolates :floorlaugh:

That's what I've heard.I Googled and here's what they said about this Winter :scared:

20132014 U.S. Weather Highlights
Frigid Winter With Bitter Cold and Heavy Snow
Brrrrr! It looks like global warming will soon be taking a vacation to make room for Old Man Winter...
According to the newest edition of North Americas oldest continuously published periodical, a decline in solar activity combined with ocean-atmosphere patterns in the Pacific and Atlantic will result in below-normal temperatures and above-normal snowfall during most of the winter across much of the United States.

Good morning!!! Did anyone watch "who the !#$% did I marry" "Perfect Strangers" on ID discovery last night ? Don't know if it's a re- run, but the episode spotlighted Ryan Burns & CKJA. I did not their relationship qualified for that show.

I will admit that I was more than disappointed that Judge Stevens honored the motion to continue. She has taken a lot of heat from being too accommodating; depending on one's position, she is heavily biased towards the opposing side. I had hoped that the hearing would still take place with a limited scope, just so that there is the appearance of forward motion.
Someone tweeted that there is an evidentiary hearing on September 27 and this was verified through the Maricopa County Superior Court. We will have to wait to see if this still stands or is cancelled.
I do take some consolation that CMJA has now spent over 4 months in closed custody and if her DT succeeds in securing delays for the penalty phase, it will just add to time that she spends alone for 23 hours a day before hitting prison, where it will begin all over again.
I had half expected a tweet from the self-absorbed CMJA as we headed close to the 9/16 trial date, but none has materialized. Woot, woot! Would it be too much to ask that this exile, self-imposed or otherwise, continues?
So while we all go about our lives unfettered, enjoying our freedom and everything it entails, CMJA sits for 23 hours a day in a 7 x 11 jail cell. The highlights of her existence right now are trial updates, limited outgoing phone calls and reading her books, magazines and postcards. In all likelihood her mail is not all friendly or supportive, which might just dampen her day.
So for however long it takes for her to receive her sentence, her current conditions right now are fine by me. She is by no means living the life of Reilly and for that I am thankful.
Another thing to consider...Estrella jail has now been home to her for more than 5 years. It has been more than 20 years since she has made her home in any one place for that length of time.
Does she get out to discuss these various motions with her lawyers? Could these motions in part be a way for her to get out?
