It's puke...with the colon on either side.

At the rate that this trial is dragging on, I might even learn all of the smilies before its over.

mine is working?

Princess, when is your surgery? And what for?

I am scheduled for surgery October 30th. I have what is called a Teratoma on my left ovary. I won't go into detail, but you can google "teratoma of the ovary" and get the general idea. For all you Stephen King fans out there, I feel a little like the character in "The Dark Half" :floorlaugh:.

I'm a little nervous about the surgery. :scared:

Is it a laproscopic procedure? That's how I had my tubal ligation years ago and it was an easy recovery. First day was uncomfortable, but not painful.

Still, I can understand being nervous about it...I think it's healthy to have some respect for any kind of surgery.

OMG!! dont mention colon!! my Dr. wants me to have a colonoscopy with a barium test the next day. My colons so bad he cant look at the right end. He's afraid of the scope tearing it. I dont want to go! I've been having problems with it since he said this. I am not supposed to be emotionally upset as the Psychiatrist thinks that is what caused the bleeding. I will talk to my PCP on Friday, going to him for 20 years. Maybe he can save me. My Gastro is one of the best and I really like him. I dont want to lose him, he saved my life. N.S. (these are my initials.):laughcry::floorlaugh:

When I was 28 I had gallstones and had to have my gall bladder removed. I was VERY young for such surgery, and the nurses all commented on how I didn't fit the "four F's" - fat, female, fertile and over forty (well I WAS still fertile then) :floorlaugh:. Three days after my surgery (where they cut me from breast to belly button) I was mowing the lawn. People thought I was nuts, but I bounced back that quick. I don't think it will be quite that easy this time :(.

It's big gcharlie - at least 9cm. The specialist told me if it's more than 9cm they can't do laproscopy, and will have to do more invasive surgery. I had my ultrasound last Thursday, and go back to the specialist on September 27. I'll know more then about what the surgery will involve.
