:thud: You're saying this odd looking chick is an actress of some sort?

The sad part is that she can get away with it. If I wore this out in public I would probably make the top of the most ugliest outfit list of 2013, I can't speak for you just myself.

Good for you, sounds like she deserved it. What did she look like? I've had people like that over and they are just miserable. Did you ask your husbands friend what her problem was? Well hope the rest of your day went well and hope the kids had a good day.

she has dark hair, somwhat olive toned skin and these beady eyes that look dead inside. i felt bad for her at first standing all alone in a corner just watching everyone, but then i realized something was really really off with this girl. her eyes almost looked dead inside. my best friend/neighbor is a Clinical Social Worker and works with all sorts of people and after spending about 2 minutes trying to pull teeth to have a conversation with her, she came away with the same creepiness factor and bad feelings i did. she actually told me she didn't think that girl should be here around children. this friend is VERY non judgemental and can usually see the good in everyone but she said this chick gave her goosebumps

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed in the ending of Dexter. Why did they have to kill Deb? I have to watch it again to see if I missed something. They left me with more questions than answers. I hope there is a movie in 3-D, and it leaves us feeling we got our 8 yrs. worth.

i agree. i literally thought the tv magically changed channels on it's own and i was watching an episode of AX men or something for the last minute. I wish they caught him to be honest. I thought it was very very anti climatic who Quinn and Flores just let him go at the end like that. I would hope we see a movie or something after that. I also can't stand Hannah McKay. I'm horrified at how he left deb in the water like that, I actually cried, I was mad! I love Deb. The whole thing was just not what I wanted to see. I think they could have written a much stronger last season that really put the pressure on Dex. I didn't see that here

Curious as to what your friend's thoughts are, but more important what did she say to you after you told her she scared your children?

Ciao

she said nothing. she wasn't even looking at me at this point, just started walking really really fast with her head down towards my friends car. i cant' believe i actually said that to her, i'm very non confrontational but it just came out of my mouth. good thing she didn't come up and confront me because my friend i was sitting out front with is a tough as nails 5 ft italian cop and she doesn't take crap from anyone. the scary thing is, the age difference between my friend and her is so large its disturbing and borderline illegal. my husband and i are so creeped out we are considering cutting this friend out of our lives as we are so disturbed.

Can I post a bit of news? Sigg jury being seated, no change of venue. Trial due to start Oct. 2,2013. Trying for coverage.

I heard the chicken dance today, and I thought of Travis, and in my minds eye, I could see him dancing and having fun. I think the woman dancing with him is Desiree Freeman....and then there is Jodi, stalking Travis, taking his picture.

Travis Alexander Does Chicken Dance: Jodi Arias Seen in Background Taking Photos of Him - YouTube

This is the song Jodi was singing during her interview with Detective Flores. In this video there is a young woman standing in a closet peeking out in to the room. There is a man laying on a bed and...well just watch it. I wonder if Jodi played this some on her way to Trivia's?

That song meant something to her.

This song brings me to tears. How in the world was this woman able to murder a grown-man like that? So terrible. It wasn't like a single gun-shot in a blink of an eye. He was trapped in a tiny shower with no escape. It's one of the most terrible murders I've ever read about.

Rest in peace, Travis.

Hello All!
I'm new, but been reading most of this thread since the start of the trial.

I have to chime in to Mollyandme's observation. I concur with all replies. Follow your gut, your instinct, it's probably spot on or very close.

Short story: About 15 years ago I held a small dinner party at my home during the Christmas holidays, a friend invited his colleague (male) to our dinner. Upon first meeting in my home, my two dogs basically ran away from this guy (Lab and Golden Retriever), which they never do. My two dogs we're love bunnies! I admit, this guy did look creepy too. And after the dinner my best girlfriend pulled me aside and said, "I don't like him. It's something about his eyes." And she is very intuitive. A couple months later we saw his mug shot on the news! We all freaked out big time! Needless to say, this person is still in prison. I still get the willies thinking back.

One word..... Boundaries!

It took me a few decades, but I've realized the definition of "friend" is relative.

7:09 AM - 24 Sep 13

What's interesting about this tweet is the time that it was posted. This would seem to be outside of normal hours for phone calls, suggesting that this was discussed on a previous day and tweeted early this morning?

No more tweets have been deleted.

Her view of the world is once again on display with this latest pearl of wisdom.

I'm guessing that there are no friends, in the conventional sense, to be found to testify on her behalf in the mitigation phase.

thank you so much for posting this! yes dogs are also amazing judges of character. for a golden retriever and a lab to run away from someone says A LOT. I also think you can tell a lot about looking into someones eyes, it's like looking into their soul almost. That must have been so creepy to then see him on the news and in prison! geeze thats scary

please continue to post on here, we are a fun group :)

wow. jodi should take her own advice. she's a friend to no one, just a user, abuser, and cold blooded murderer. what goes around comes around jodi. perhaps you should spend some time thinking about the definition of "karma" because karma is not your friend miss. murderess

So true dogs just know. They just do. A few years ago we had my BFF in for dinner and her new man. Our dog never barked or growled at anyone. Anyhoo when they arrived she stood and growled at him. Took a few minutes to settle her. I guess because he was a medical Dr. I gave him a pass. Thought maybe the dog smelled something on him. Yet it was always in the back of my head. They went on to Marry. Lasted less than a year. He bugged the house. Hacked her computer. Followed her to the grocery store often leaving Patients waiting. etc. etc. As soon as she came to me and told me what he really was like we had her moved out within the week :scared:

Hmmm- pearls and swine come to mind for some reason. Travis unfortunately cast his pearls before the swine that was Jodi Ann Arias, how that unlikely scenario came to be I will never understand except that I do really wonder wether or not she researched Travis and set her sights on him- it is honestly the only thing that makes sense for me.

For all of the information we have now, it appears she was 'becoming' Mormon well before she ever crossed paths with Travis. There is a reason that fact has been so muddied by the defendant herself, her partner in crime Daryl Brewer (God only knows why) and her defense team and experts- it changes the ENTIRE story of Travis as Svengali and Jodi as his poor Stockholm syndrome- domestic violence victim.

If I learned nothing else I wish we would have much more information from co-workers, neighbors, and supposed friends of Jodi and Daryl- someone- anyone from those months leading up to the convention in Vegas and the fateful meeting with Travis. There has to be people willing to tell, who aren't afraid... doesn't there? That time period alone would tell most of the story, I would place a very high bet, and then so much of what happened afterward would make sense. Can't someone on the prosecution team reach out to Daryl's ex-wife? Wouldn't she be willing to tell the truth?

I couldn't agree with you more Frigga; I have often wondered if his 'you scamed me' might mean more than something recent, that he may have found out she plotted their first meeting and the earlier Mormon visitations and prayer meetings were all part of the scam. I've never looked at her MySpace, how far date-wise did it go back? Any chance of finding any clues or hints there (or elsewhere) that we might piece some of it together? I'm willing to do the fingerwork (as opposed to legwork lol), just not sure where to look.

Some folks might be waiting until JA has been Sentenced to tell their experience. Everyone has been privy to the circus and the unwanted attention it causes. There is always a "paper trail" so to speak. I suspect we will learn more once this is a wrap.

The new fall tv season started last night and I am pleasantly surprised. If any of you like crime drama shows that are full of intrigue, The Blacklist" on NBC starring James Spader was really, really good. It came on at 10 pm EST. It reminded me slightly of "Silence of the Lambs" without the gore. The premise is really good. It sure beat the reality shows I watch on Bravo. The new season of "Person of Interest" debuts tonight at 10 and the blind auditions of "The Voice" continue as well.
I watched "Castle" as well but was kinda disappointed. "The Blacklist may be my go to program instead and I will catch Castle on demand.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming... JMV :)
