It's Lei Day in Hawaii. That's where I was born.

I was born in Kailua (on Oahu)...went to school at Kailua elementary/intermediate...and than on to Kalaheo High. Were you Military or are you true Kama'aina?

No stupid portegee jokes, please. Yes, I am Portuguese. My great-great grandfather emigrated to Maui in 1876. My family has been there ever since. Portuguese on both sides.

LOL My Dad is retired there now, lives in Honolulu to be closer to all the hospitals and stuff. Sister on the big island, Hilo. Used to be on the Kona side. I go back occasionally but haven't lived there since I was five. Dad went into the Air Force to see the world.
