Glad you joined in, sunni.

I lurked here for many years before getting the nerve to post. I just had to have somewhere to vent on this case. No one in my real life shares my obsession with crime/trials.

In fact, one of my first posts was a reply to my new Internet bride, Katie, about how much I loved reading her views on the Scott Peterson trial, way back in the day. That was the first case that had me spellbound. And since the trial wasn't televised, Katie was our eyes and ears on the ground.

You saw the Katie/Jordy story right? Crazy A$$ time that was. When I first met Beth Karas...and Nancy Grace (in her "business on the top" and ragged jeans/cowboy boots on the bottom every single day). I'll always love her after that.

You mean your excellent adventure to Modesto and the cement bag photo, right?

Oh yes, I followed everything you and Jordy posted on that case. :)

I love me some Beth Karas, too. Nancy Grace used to drive me nuts, and I really don't watch her much, but there are times when I really do appreciate her calling BS on the defense attorneys and/or perps. And she really does have a good sense of humor.

See her here with Anderson Cooper.

OMG that was utterly hilarious. I just watch her for her quips and faces...she's just such a different person off camera, very generous and gracious and approachable. I will always love her no matter what. Yes I meant the New Times piece about that.

It's only taken me almost 5 years to get up the nerve to post :blushing:, so in awe of everyone here! I do read every day though.

Anyway, wanted to add one of my favorites (hope it's not already been posted, kinda behind on this thread as I wind up downloading songs y'all post & getting lost in them)

This version by Eric Clapton & friends in Concert for George:

Done by George Harrison himself:

Well, then, nice to meet you after all this time. YOu've been with me through several hairstyle iterations at the very least. ;)

Welcome! :seeya:

VivianVance I was about 10 when the House of the Rising Sun came out. Still love that song. Then you surprise us with Lenny and I Want to Fly Away. Love that song and some days I wish I could...fly away. Now I am going to read what you all have been listening to today. I have Jonny Lang on the CD. This song was done when he was 14.
