I am so sorry for your loss, writersblock.

I lost my Mom to cancer, after a long period of chemo, radiation, ups, downs. I was very close to her and was lucky that I got laid off from my job just when she needed the most care. So I got to spend a lot of time with her in her last days, and it was a great privilege.

This was 13 years ago, and I still miss her dearly.

My baby sister died from cancer last summer at age 49, and I also was able to care for her in the last weeks of her life. I miss her terribly and think of her every day.

So I feel I can relate somewhat to your grief, and hope you have a lot of support in your life to help you through it. And am glad for whatever solace you can take from your online friends here.

You guys are super awesome. I lost my dad as well to brain cancer in May 2011. I won't say I totally get it, but I kind of understand your pain. It's cool to have people online to converse with.
